Redfreya is a London-based DJ who's been making a name for herself on the UK and international club scene for several years now, supporting some huge names in the industry whilst holding down a popular radio show and curating her own ‘Redfreya & friends’ events in London. She also sometimes DJs alongside her friend Rebecca Gough as the duo Rreykasound. In this episode we talk about her journey to success and the lessons she’s learnt - particularly about the need to be good to yourself - as well as getting a few exclusives in regards to some exciting projects she’s got in the pipeline.

From the Old School

Hiding on old dusty DAT tapes Mr Tripwire brings us some of his best sellers that have never been available digitally before, re edited and digitally remastered.

Vinyl sales on these titles combined in this package sold 45 000 units and had licenses on compilations for Fabric, NRK, Cream, Renaissance, DPTM and many more.

A staggering amount of DJMag top tunes,high chart placements and solid reviews and support came from these projects and establish Jay on an international level for his "Unique fusion of Detroit textures and intricate rhythms(Steve Mclay, DJ Mag).
These tracks were some of the early " West coast" records that defined that sound, and bridged the gap between house and techno creating what later became "Tech House".
