FUCKING WIZARDS embark on cross-dimensional ADHD journeys spanning cosmic disco, kraut Boogie and tropical post pop. 

The Proposal are a relatively new band originating from Wigan and St Helens (we had our first gig in November 2014): made up of singer/songwriter/ guitarist Lindz (previously keys in Moco amongst others), Benjie on lead guitar (The Hermitage), Darren on bass (Trip Trick and Disperse) and Simon on drums (previously of The Atomic Hound Dog.) Drawing on a diverse range of influences such as; Television, Mercury Rev, Pulp, Ash, Pink Floyd, Led Zep, Stone Roses, Biffy Clyro, the Verve, Placebo and Billy Talent, the band tread the brooding, darker side of Indie-rock.

We are in the process of mixing our first EP at Scout Hut Studios, Wigan (owned by former Moco front man Steve Jones) which we recorded with Esk's Ian Lythgoe. The tracks are an honest representation of what we hope people who come to our shows will hear: we turned up, plugged in, pressed record and played with the odd bit of filter.

We aim to have a good time all of the time, and we want this for everyone who comes to one of our shows.

Melding together electronica, growling Sprechstimme, Krautrock rhythms and grooves with prog rock tendencies, JTB prove to be a strange fish of a band. 

They elicit from strangers peculiar dancing from songs about the universe, atoms and Higgs Bosons, Zeus, Gilgamesh and Prometheus, and how shoulders without freckles are like skies without stars. 


They are NOT a religious band!
