Isola is Ivana Carrescia, an artist and synthesist based in the Las Vegas desert. For Isola, there is music hidden in every sound around us – the howl of wind, the whirr of traffic, the blank hum of a refrigerator. Isola’s debut EP on Los Angeles's Godmode label pairs her glassy vocals and musique concrète style with minimal house and dub techno reminiscent of early Chain Reaction releases. Across all seven tracks she worked closely with Godmode co-founder Nick Sylvester, the producer behind other Godmode breakouts such as Channel Tres and Yaeji.

Pirra, now based in Wollongong and led by Luritja frontwoman Jess Beck, have released their latest single Limousine Lies; a cruising dance floor filler that delivers on the introspective lyricism that the group have made their signature. On Limousine Lies, Pirra have teamed with ARIA award winning producer Konstantin Kersting, a hot name in Australia and globally after his work with Tones & I, The Jungle Giants and Mallrat.

Limousine Lies is the band's third release since signing with UK label Cr2 Records, through their imprint BLK&WHT.
