Yoichi K. Rengiil was a father figure in my life. Over the years, he taught me about our Palauan history and the traditional music of our culture. He was well-respected and loved by many, and he accomplished a great deal during his life. He will surely be missed. May he rest in heavenly peace. 
More than forty to fifty years have passed since some of these songs were recorded, including those sung and composed by Yoichi K. Rengiil. These are the songs he shared with me, and I hope you will come to enjoy them as much as I have.

Thought I would share one more with ya...a recent remix I did of a old Verve female vocalist. 
  The original had very few elements (little guitar, piano and voice and very light light drums).
  All the rest I added and reworked the structure a bit.
  Its a fun little jazz ditty.
