Ash Preston - techno / tech dance / hard techno 2020 mix

Where do we start with this obsessed tech beat wizard aka ASH PRESTON! He has a unique style consisting of various techniques and a cutting edge sound that inspires him as a DJ and Producer like no other! Creating his own amazing sound already and add to that’s his passion, individuality and attention to detail makes his music original, captivating and the future of Hard Dance.

Ash set off on his journey as a DJ at just the ages of 16 with a set of old belt drive decks. After only a week he already had ordered a set of 1210’s and DJM 500 .. This was the start of this music fuelled munch kin’s road to becoming the fast rising star that he is now. At 17 years old he entered a DJ competition in a local pub (18’s over tut tut Ash!) .. And came 2nd, then again the next year (legal this time) he swept up 1st place and landed himself his first residency for tech/trance night “Energize” The only way was up from then on, inspired by DJ’s like Eddie Halliwell, ash followed his idles round the country known that one day his break would come! 

A few years later it did ... At an Xstatic event, with his close friend Rockin Russ, Ash met Jimmy Dean and handing his mix over to be entered into a DJ contest - Again Ash came up trumps and won leading him to resident at Xstatic, where he still is 6years later. Over the years Ash has played main room sets all over UK, Ireland and Ibiza for the biggest brands like TIDY, Atomik, GoodGreef, Storm .. Along side top DJ’s in the Industry including Headhunters, Tuneboy, Kutski, Organ Donors, Alex Kidd, Kidd Kaos, Amber D, Mark EG, Anne Savage .. To name only a few .. And of course Jimmy Dean, who took Ash under his wing to help his unreal talent develop and grow as well as adding him to yet another residency with Storm. Everyone wanted a piece of Mr Preston and later another residency for “Euphonic Fuzion” was added and then signing to Curious Management in 2011. 

Producing on high quality labels such as Tech Fu Recordings, where Ash is a signed resident and producer, D Day Recordings, N-T-R and Universal Nations his tracks are no stranger to top TID charts, Radio plays and CD Collaborations. With massive support from the biggest DJ’s in hard dance including Remo-Con, Yoji, Rodi Styles, Lisa Lashes, Amber D, Scott Attrill, Proteus, Jon Bishop, Busho, Neal Thomas, DJ Husband, Diablik, Anne Savage, Joe E, Argy & DJ Audy .... 

Already Ash has accomplished so much in his relatively short career! Andright now, It’s all about the future for this “little Tecka” and his music ….. BRING IT ON!!!
