Walton Music was established in 1950 by Norman Luboff as a publishing house for Luboff's choral arrangements and compositions. Today, Walton serves the choral community by publishing works by noted composers such as Eric Whitacre and Ola Gjeilo, and promoting both new composition and the preservation of classics such as Vivaldi's Gloria. Editions in the Walton catalog number in the thousands.

Gunilla Luboff (spouse of the late Norman Luboff) worked for many years as the owner and editor of Walton Music. During Gunilla's tenure, she maintained and expanded the Walton catalog, helping it to become one of the leading choral catalogs in the United States and a well-respected catalog across the world. Originally from Sweden, Gunilla helped to establish Walton as a champion of Scandinavian choral music, making Scandinavian works more readily available in the United States.

In October 2013, the Walton catalog was acquired by GIA Publications, a publisher located in Chicago, Illinois, with a history of over 70 years.

D. Jason Bishop is Director of Choral Activities and Barbara S. Christie '76 Director of The Laurentian Singers at St. Lawrence University in Canton, New York. He is the former Artistic Director of the world-renowned, Grammy award-winning Texas Boys Choir, and previously served as Director of Music & Worship at Christ United Methodist Church in Plano, Texas; Director of Choral & Vocal Studies & Chair of the Music Department at Drew University; Founder & Artistic Director of the Young People's Chorus of Erie; and Music Director of the Erie Philharmonic Chorus. Dr. Bishop is an active guest conductor and clinician and has served the American Choral Directors Association in several roles, including as National Repertoire & Resources Chair for Student Activities. His compositions, orchestrations, and arrangements are published by Hal Leonard, Colla Voce, and NoteNova, and self-published by Tully Road Music.

CHOROSYNTHESIS SINGERS, a state-of-the-art project-based ensemble, exists to collaborate with professional-level musicians and composers in the creation and performance of music that connects the art with community. As part of the greater vision of Chorosynthesis, the ensemble serves as a practical example of applying the ideals of the organization: collaboration, innovation, sustainability, and excellence.

Praised by the Miami Herald for their “impressive maturity and striking melodic distinction”, Sydney Guillaume’s compositions are known to be intricate, challenging and yet highly spirited. They promote human values and are full of heart and passion. His compositions continually enthrall choirs everywhere and have been performed around the world. They have been featured at numerous conferences and international festivals like the American Choral Directors Association (ACDA), the World Choir Games and Ireland’s Cork International Choral Festival. He is an active member of the choral community as a composer, singer, clinician and conductor. Guillaume also writes film music – he has written original film and documentary scores for the Los Angeles based company Loyola Productions.

Reviewed as "whirling, soaring" and "audacious... edgy... and thrilling," the music of Abbie Betinis is being performed increasingly in the United States and abroad.

Abbie has received nearly fifty commissions for new music, by organizations such as the American Suzuki Foundation, Cantus, Cornell University, and the Dale Warland Singers.  In 2011, NPR Music and New York's WQXR Radio listed her in the top 100 Composers Under Forty.  A McKnight Fellowship recipient, she has been composer-in-residence with The Schubert Club since 2005, and has also held residencies with The Rose Ensemble and The Singers--Minnesota Choral Artists.

Abbie lives with her grand piano, Lester, at the tippy-top of a restored 19th century walk-up in Saint Paul, Minnesota.
