In a true celebration of Italian electronic music from across the generations, Bosconi is honoured to present unreleased works from the legendary Alexander Robotnick. A true titan of Florentine music who helped define the Italo disco scene with a glittering run of evergreen club classics, Robotnick is still as creative now in his 70s as he was when first firing off his trademark arpeggios in the early 1980s.

For a few years now Robotnick, real name Maurizio Dami, has mainly released new or previously unreleased music via his own Hot Elephant Music. As such, we’re thrilled to present three original tracks on vinyl, cut hot and ready to set a disco alight. Transcending the trappings of retro-fetishism, vintage this or old-skool that, the tracks on this 12” could be called techno or electro as easily as Italo – it’s quite simply impeccable dance music as delivered by a master craftsman.

Adding to the sense of occasion celebrating the foundations of the Italian scene, we’re equally thrilled to welcome Marco Passarani to remix
Robotnick’s ‘The Hidden Game’. His appropriately titled ‘Legacy’ mix operates as an alternate version in the traditional style, holding true to
the essence of the original while offering a slightly altered perspective. It’s a distinct mix with Passarani’s own distinctive Italo flair plain to hear – if anything his version sounds more retro than the original – but it’s still very much invested in what Robotnick created to begin with.

Given the influence both these artists have had on the musical culture our own label is built on, this release holds a special place in our hearts, and we’re excited to be sharing it with the world, where the throbbing basslines and sparkling pads can work their magic under the disco ball in a thousand dimly lit dance spots

'Namai' EP marks the debut mini-album from 'thelastsunday'. It explores the complex relationship between humanity and its surroundings: encompassing nature, people and self. The sound of the mini-album is not easy to describe - it combines Lithuanian poetry-like lyrics with electronic and percussive rhythms, synthesised sounds, guitars, strings and brass instruments. The multi-layered nature of the works reveals the artist's transformation and pursuit of a unique sonic identity, inspired by her lifelong musical influences.

For this second opus, we continue our momentum and we're offering a various artists composed of 4 tracks.

The EP opens on the track " Prendre l'Air " by Vitess. We find the signature of the young producer with a neat and precise production, all enhanced by a millimetric breakbeat and an airy atmosphere, backed by an acid lead.The second track is produced by Pépé Elle who offers here a one-way ticket to England with his UKG infused "Carbon Dance" track. We find all the markers of the style, from syncopated rhythmics to powerful wobble bass. Perfect to turn a club upside down on any circumstance.

The Italians from MDC open the B side with the track Bouncing. The atmosphere gets darker and sweatier. We find grimmy vocals, a heady and efficient acid bassline. The Ep closes on the track The Resistance by Wilt. We continue to evolve in darker atmospheres with a tension that is created throughout the track without ever failing, all supported by a powerful breakbeat that will leave no one intact.

Detroit's own Booty Bass pioneer DJ Assault has had a large hand in bringing booty music, from the urban streets of Detroit to the suburban club circuit. The incorporation of electro beats with hardcore, sometimes pornographic lyrics, is what makes ghetto-house highly distinguishable from its other techno cousins.

His track "Ass -N- Titties" (Released in on his self run Jefferson Ave label ) featured in a scene in 22 Jump Street an American comedy film directed by Phil Lord and Christopher Miller. The film was released on June 13, 2014, by Columbia Pictures and Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer, received generally positive reviews, and earned over $308 million at the box office.

Another early DJ Assault track, ‘Tear Da Club Up’, was recently sampled by Darius Syrossian who used Dj Assault’s vocal to make it a house track. Darius made the track in the summer of 2013 especially for his BBC 1 essential mix. The track is being played from Ibiza to Japan, by many underground house deejays including Dirty Bird label boss and international deejay / producer Claude Von Stroke, who seems to make it his trademark to insert ghetto-bass elements into his house sets.
