Norman James aka D Jay Mint

Norman James has been a pioneer in house music since the age of 16. He started his career in Liverpool, inspired by the likes of Mike Knowler and The Manhattans. His eclectic diet of original 90s house music soon evolved into trance, and he became a regular fixture on the club scene in the late 90s.

In 2004, Norman moved to Thailand, where he quickly made a name for himself with his funky house style. He played at some of the biggest clubs in the country, including Bed Supperclub, QBar, and Narcissus. He also headlined the Full Moon Party in Koh Pha Ngan and Koh Larn.

In 2007, Norman opened his own bar in Koh Samui, which quickly became one of the island's top nightspots. He also started producing his own music, and was signed to House Rox Records. His tracks "I Like Saxy," "Disco Shit," and "Prae" were all well-received by fans.

In 2015, Norman moved back to the UK, where he continued to DJ and produce music. He was also offered a residency at Cafe Del Mar Pattaya, but he turned it down due to his EHS (Electricity Hypersensitivity) condition.

Norman James is a true original, and his unique blend of house music has inspired fans all over the world. He is a true pioneer of the genre, and his legacy will continue to inspire DJs and producers for years to com
