SAMBAM SESSIONS - VOL.003 - LIVE IN ATHENS, GREECE

This one opens deep and tribal, with hand drums, forest sounds and Afro rhythms rolling over rubbery basslines. Then it slowly warms into the funk. There's a bit of Hot Since 82 swagger, a Daniel Steinberg twist on some French-flavoured funk and AMÉMÉ's tribal chants keeping you locked in.

Halfway through, it goes back to the roots. 

I've included a couple tech house tracks that vibe, a Green Velvet classic remixed, and a few disco-laced cuts that make you want to take your clothes off. It closes on a solid feel-good track to fully send it.

It's percussive, funky, sweaty and cheeky and it's still about making love to the dance floor.

gone back to my roots with a bit of a modern twist - september 2026

SPEED GARAGE/BASSLINE/SPEEDY HOUSE

After getting home from a long day at work, I decided to put together a mix using all the records I’d just bought at Killacutz Records, Amsterdam. I’ve always loved mixing this way - right after picking up new tracks - because not knowing the songs (or not knowing them well yet) leads to all sorts of surprises, and that was certainly the case with this session. I did leave out the one track that was a bit of a letdown - because, of course, that happens sometimes too. I’m really happy with the final result - enjoy the listen! This mix starts as Leolectro and ends as LFU because It moves from downtempo breaks to breaks, slow house, back to breaks, funky, disco-house, and finally, deep-toned house.

This time, I mixed the 'old-school' way using two pairs of headphones, since I can't play music through speakers at home in the evening or at night.

DJCSK has been fascinated by all-music since his early days and was tinkering with creating tracks for majority of his life. Even though he used to play guitar in punk and metal bands in his teens, his interest in other genres, especially electronic music, grew stronger each year - and finally taking over his taste after he attender his first DIY raves back in 2019.
In his sets he tries to take the audience on a journey through genres, with one goal in mind - make people involuntarily dance. You know, in the end, groove is the name of the game.

Music has been a huge part of my life for as long as I can remember—my earliest memories are filled with the sound of music. Even now, I spend most of my time listening to tracks, discovering new sounds, and vibing to the rhythm. I’ve always been that guy—the one who’s all about music.

I started DJing when I was just 11, playing at kids’ discos for people my age. Later, I picked up bass and drums in a band, but during Covid, the passion for mixing came back strong. I bought some gear, hit the decks again, and haven’t looked back.

Since then, I’ve had a few paid gigs—mostly private events, birthday parties, and small club nights. Nothing major, but always a blast.

Now, it’s time to share my love for music with all of you. My goal? To entertain, spread good vibes, and make sure everyone is dancing—including me.

Dutch DJ, producer/composer LFU in short: 

En route from pop, rock, electronic disco, early Hip-Hop, New Jack Swing and late 80s Deep House, Leo encounters the overwhelming rave sound of Human Resource's "Dominator" during a night out in 1991. When he hears "Charly" from Prodigy a few weeks later, he's over. 

Especially in the Utrecht house scene, Leo is doing his bit along with his DJ friends. Besides his work as manager of record store Mid-Town Utrecht, he is one of Shiva's resident DJs; Utrecht's first House club (now Basis). He plays at many parties, at the legendary RoXY and shows his DJ practices abroad. In addition, he regularly goes into the studio to make records with friends. 

Nowadays Leo works at record store Killacutz in Amsterdam and he has started his own record label: 'Casa Meganika' with music by himself and friends.
