South Central Los Angeles has a reputation, but for those like Chef Da Bomb - it’s just home. As the oldest son of Salvadorian parents and a first generation American, Chef The Bomb was born to live the American Dream, but sometimes that dream comes with obstacles. Chef Da Bomb had to take the role of a second provider. His love for his two siblings and mother had him focused on hustling in the food industry (hence Chef Da Bomb) versus being a student. But none the less he landed himself at Manual Arts Senior High School where he graduated. Chef Da Bomb was introduced to the colorful world of music at a young age, listening to all types of genres both spanish and english, and joining his church worship group as a drummer. Soon after high school his love for music began to flourish. With each passing year, his passion for music grew. Until finally one day his cousin Otis Sama introduced him to the mic and studio sessions. From that day forward his life journey changed, both triumphs and failures helped him mold his enthusiasm for music and brought him to the next level. Today, he’s still cooking up a storm and crafting reggaeton inspired hip hop, for the past five years he has released everything from mixtapes to collaborations. 

Since starting out, Chef Da Bomb has been featured on numerous online and streaming platforms, including Spotify, AppleMusic, SoundCloud, SugarRadio and Jango Radio. With over 45,000 and counting views on his YouTube, and almost 50,000 monthly listeners on Spotify, it's not hard to tell that hip hop fans cannot get enough of the universality that comes with his music. Take “Mi Estilo (Eh Oh)” for example. Confident people who are comfortable in their own skin can relate to the idea of confessing how much people love their style. Other songs like “Up and Away,” which has over 20,000 plays on Spotify, delivers something on a broader scale in that it conveys the sentiment of spreading your wings and taking that leap of fate that perhaps you’ve been holding yourself back from taking. “It's about coming home rich instead of poor and declaring that we have a higher purpose in this life,” says Chef Da Bomb. 

Those are just a couple of the tracks in a long list of releases from Chef Da Bomb. He gave the world his debut mixtape in 2015. ‘Please Take This Serious’ featured 11 tracks and was soon followed by a few more singles; “I’m Grinding So I’m Findin’” featuring BankBoiiYung (known as YungWe$t when the track was released), “Look at My Shit” featuring his cousin OtisSama, and “I Want Your Throat.” In 2020 he and OtisSama worked together on the collaborative album ‘Million Dollar Fade,’ which features 24 songs, something they purposely did as a homage to the late LA Laker Kobe Bryant. On The Album cover they are both wearing Kobe Bryants shirts, with the view of Downtown LA in the background. 

With every opportunity on the horizon, Chef Da Bomb has plans of opening not only his own label, DaBomb Entertainment, but also start a taco business called DaBomb Tacos. Chef Da Bomb's goal is to have his logo on display everywhere. He plans to dominate both industries in the near future, keep your eyes open and ready for Chef Da Bomb.

Zachary Lyle Friday, by his upbringing learned much about music early on, but he really discovered and dwelved deeper into  classics in many genres including blues, country, jazz, classical, psychedelic, and progressive rock - heavy metal, acoustic new age, and many more genres he takes a particular enjoyment in. Zachary also loved listening to Funk, and Punk music. He is has always been quite the idea-man when it comes to music. "I grew up playing musical instruments, because my dad had been playing since his grandfather first bought him a guitar when he was 13, so I got to grow up with having all of the amazing vintage music equipment - guitars and amps and pedals, I took my first piano lessons reading music when I was 3 , and on the guitar when I was 7, but it I'd been playing them since as long as I can remember basically." Since then, and throughout his life Zachary has accomplished many great things, and won many awards at workshops, live performances, trade shows, festivals, and colleges. He hopes to have all of the music that has been recorded of him playing his own craft from the past decade alive out in the mainstream. In fact, he even has plans to start band with some old friends from Berklee College of Music and/or some with some Louisiana locals that plays it all. Read track description for more info.
