I will conform to the music industry and talk about myself in third person now.

American Appalachian Junglist, MewTwoChainz, is an artist from Star City, otherwise known as Roanoke, Virginia. Born and raised on a farm in the Blue Ridge Mountains, he grew up surrounded by nature and noise. His appreciation and love for animals would intersect with his fascination for Japanese art and all things Pokémon, forming the backbone of his eclectic aesthetic.   

Relatively new the the music scene, MewTwoChainz found his calling and his autism diagnosis unexpectedly at the Zap Outdoorz festival, where he was introduced to jungle music by one of the last legendary DMV artists spinning pure vinyl, Dee Clark. This festival ignited his manic episode becoming obsessed with DJing, and two months later he would travel to Japan for his very own anime training arc where he landed his first gig in Osaka, Japan. His first gig paid him 500 yen and two free beers, and now he's addicted for life. 

Marrying the sound of the jungle with the nostalgic modern sound of gen Z, MewTwoChainz transforms the dance floor into a Pokémon battle where you're his opponent and he won't forfeit until he makes you dance. 

As his journey unfolds in Japan and beyond, he continues to carve out his place in the global underground music scene. Growing up on that farm gave him a chip on his shoulder, and now he has something to prove. It makes him dangerous. 

He should probably learn how to make music now....
