Next up we have the ethereal talent that is Pasta Kebab. Amelia Constanti is a Dj, producer and artist based in North West London however flows between all areas of the capital. She has played a huge part in the underground scene for some time now offering us the most tasteful experiences London has to offer through her mystical, experimental mixes, exhibitions and personality which has bagged her residencies on Kindred and Aaja. Not to mention being a part of West London’s hidden-gem label and collective, Kite Hill Records. One may say she is the full package with the eyes and ears for deep, dubby and swampy sounds. There’s no doubt Mills brings a breath of sweet fresh air to everything she does, creating the most obscure, hypnotic mixes and sets on and off the dancefloor....Pasta Kebab takes us on a tumultuous journey through off beat, avant garde experimental.....

1. How and why did you get into producing / dj'ing?

I started because I was exposed to a lot of DJs and producers and I felt like I could also have a voice within the electronic world, I was given a really big push by people around me to just try and explore. Then my student loan came in and it gave me the financial ability to build a collection of records, buy Ableton, and immerse myself in my own little world without any limitations. 

2. Who, What/where was your most coziest gig you've been to or experienced and why?

Event @ Ormside. I let out a lot of aggression and I really resonated with the dark atmosphere Nkisi had created. I let myself go within a really accommodating environment where I had space to completely rage through dance.

3.Are you an introvert or extrovert in the industry?

Depends on my mood! Sometimes I’ll be having a really good day and end up talking to everyone and their aunties lol, other times I’ll be really reserved and just be soaking up the music and the environment. I think now I have to allow myself to not feel guilty for being introverted, because it's a really giving experience when you are with yourself and everyone else is secondary. Sounds quite selfish but sometimes I think it's necessary to have musical experiences with yourself and no one else. 

4. If you had to choose 1 track to vibe out too forever what would it be?

That is a question I always swerve BUT I think a song I will never tire of is Indian Dub by Mad Professor, a heavily played-out fave of mine haha. 

5. What is your routine when preparing for a gig / production/writing session? do you have any special remedies/ mental prep/ places to go to? :)

Firstly I always dig through my archives which is a massively enjoyable experience for me, I find having a dig through my own stash is like looking back at my different phases and headspace’s. I also look at songs I was too scared to play in a set and I try to base my next set around those songs. I find I dig better when I’m on the move, so a long train/bus ride is perfect for me, then I associate those songs with a pleasant journey compared to digging in my bedroom which is obviously more mundane… but I definitely don’t shy away from bedroom digging with my ginger honey tea and some candles going girl!

On y suit l’arrivée de Suzy Banner dans une école de danse mondialement réputée. Suzy va très vite s’apercevoir que l’école ou elle se trouve, n’est autre qu’un couvent de sorcières…
Magie noire, breaks labyrinthiques et mélodies sataniques de prévu dans cette réadaptation sonore du classique du Giallio.

Based in Leipzig, Germany, he's representing one of it's most promising local crew, Kliebitz. In this new episode of @scenecityeu residency, nXdiving (@dammadame1) and ₮EO₮₩A₩KI (@t-e-o-t-w-a-w-k-i) draw an overview of Lyon’s music scene through 17 tracks released on 16 different labels of the city. These labels, as well as other relevant labels which do not appear in this mix, are very prolific in Lyon and they constantly help the scene to evolve by gathering and promoting local, national and international artists creating a fertile ground for creativity and exchange.
