LA-based DJ Blacklow (Jeremy Blacklow) grew up on the dance floors of New York City inspired by the house music of the '90s, inspired by the sounds of Junior Vasquez, Danny Tenaglia, Frankie Knuckles, and Peter Rauhofer. In 2011, Blacklow finally listened to friends' advice and took his love of music to the next level, playing bars, clubs & events throughout Southern California, before becoming a successful DJ and producer who now tours the world.

Blacklow's sound is a mix of classic house, tech house, progressive house, future house, and disco. His trademark sound is filled with uplifting high energy and soaring vocals. He seamlessly blends the old school and the new to create an incredible momentum-building dance floor journey on every outing. A standard Blacklow set includes a heavy dose of throwbacks and classics, mixed with the latest tracks drawn from a wide array of inspirations.

Blacklow’s production work includes several singles and remixes with his Texas-based production partner of the past five years, Stephen Jusko. Their first collaboration, a remix of Katy Perry’s “Never Really Over,” caught the ear of Perry’s manager, who gave them the official studio stems for her next single, “Small Talk,” which quickly became their most downloaded and listened to single ever. Their Chappell Roan remixes - which include their viral remix of “Pink Pony Club,” an Island/Universal commissioned remix of “Super Graphic Ultra Modern Girl,” and a tech-house driven take on “Hot To Go,” are currently powering dance floors around the world. Together, Blacklow and Jusko have also remixed singles by Lady Gaga (“Rain On Me”), Kesha (“Raising Hell,” “Stronger”), P!nk (“Never Gonna Not Dance Again,” “Just Like A Pill”), Alanis Morrisette (“You Oughta Know”), Zai (“Clouds”), Debby Holiday (“Love & Beats”) and more. 

In December 2020, Blacklow and Jusko put out their first single together, a cover of the ‘80s Scandal anthem, “The Warrior” with vocals by Audrey Callahan on Queen House Music, which quickly soared to the top of Beatport’s Top 100 Big Room charts. Two complete remix packages followed in January and February 2021. They followed it up in the fall of 2021 with a cover from Callahan of Pat Benatar’s “Shadows of the Night,” with remixes that served as true gay anthems across the globe during the fall of ‘21 and winter of ‘22. 

In the summer of 2022, Blacklow and Jusko collaborated on a cover of “Believe It Or Not” (the theme song from “The Greatest American Hero”) with vocalist Brian Kent, which was released on Swishcraft Music. And in June 2023, the dynamic duo released their first Original track together on Swishcraft, an LGBTQ anthem titled “Love Lift Me Up,” featuring vocals from the incomparable Debby Holiday.  

Recent 2024 remixes include his viral mashup of Beyoncé’s “Texas Hold ‘Em,” Zhana’s update of “Looking For A New Love,” Kent’s “Carry Your Light,” and “Gym Crush” from Broadway stars Nick Burroughs and Alex Newell. A soon-to-be-released new remix with Sapphira Crystal from "RuPaul’s Drag Race" is on its way in early 2025.

Other Blacklow high-energy remixes include “To Be Able To Love” (with George Figares feat. Brenda Reed, Swishcraft), Carly Rae Jepsen’s “Cut To The Feeling,” and “Party For One” (with Hector Fonseca), “Beautiful Trauma” (P!nk), “Brave” (Sara Bareilles),  Bo$$ (Fifth Harmony), two explosive remixes of Ellie Goulding’s “Flux,” and the tracks “Fierce,” “Faces” and “Better Days” from NYC-based singer Mila Jam.
 
With so much momentum behind him, Blacklow has several exciting gigs and productions in store for 2025 and beyond. Hard at work on several new projects, Blacklow remains one of the most exciting DJ/producers on the scene today.

Secret Mixes Fixes is an "edits" label, classics and obscure gems reshaped and recontextualized for the dance floor. These releases exist as DJ tools.

Secret Mixes Fixes began as an experiment in fixing and editing songs for extended Ableton sets. The idea was to take as many disparate influences that make up the momentum of the Detroit Techno sound, or Midwestern Hot Box DJ sound, that became the Detroit House sound and what not. There is something in there, these unexpected collisions from a city that is already an absurd culture clash, these sparks that give more light to how we got to where we are at now. And instead of being historical, treat this music as it is: fully alive. With the context of the type of DJ sets they were to be, songs, tracks, any weird archival piece that would bring back that feeling of discovery. Like when you first heard "Shari Vari" and were blown away by its unexpected italo influence, Kraftwerk smoothness over the unsteady beat that already sounds like the DJ is finger braking the platter that gives it that total rawness. Secret clues to a fantasy past.

Or maybe like the fifth time you heard "No Way Back" Adventure 2 by The Dells remixed like the Ron Hardy tapes had it mixed. We all want to live in this fantasy past where Larry Levan is playing some Danny Krivit tape edit of some Arthur Russell song that doesn't actually exist.

History should not be dead, the great ideas should continue and mutate. Thus Secret Mixes Fixes gave way to utilitarian fixes of ridiculously off time editing or drum machines and then reshaping songs into new shapes, to be used as DJ tools, just to keep these great ideas alive on the dance floor.

As the label continued, the original intent of documenting some highlights from this DJ sonic collage phase ended. The bizarre energy unleashed from Gay Marvine's deceptively direct edits began to take on their own life -- and for the past few years, Secret Mixes Fixes has served to showcase his ever growing talents and ever more absurd choices for originals that he somehow always manages to turn into total gems that last in your head far after the party is over.

Bath House Etiquette is a manual on how to handle Gay Discos. Everyone needs a little inside information. Follow the stairs to the basement, wait on your knees by the sling and wait for Mr. Marvine (to you) for further instructions.

Bath House Etiquette emerged from the cult edits label Secret Mixes Fixes. Secret Mixes Fixes focuses on diverse selection of music towards the larger goal of recontextualizing music that inspired a whole midwestern sound. Bath House Etiquette showcases master editor Gay Marvine's burning Disco side, his journey through the pleasures and perils of gay nightlife.

How do I look in control in only a towel? What do you do with a young lover that is beautiful to look at but trecherous to converse with? Where are all the red hanky bottoms? Best timing for a popper? The right leather harness for your body shape? What do you do when you go to leather party but everybody is dressed up as puppies sniffing each others asses?

Through that exploration and his endless refinement, he gives us his fantasy sound track for that experience. Tracks perfect for rocking the floor, boot blacking, crisco based disco sling fun and other hedonistic orgiastic endevors...

DJ D-STU, Dennis Stuart, began deejaying in 2007 in Fort Lauderdale at a nightclub called the Coliseum.  D-STU’s influencers in DJ’s Manny Lehman, GRIND, Drew G, Roland Belmares, Joe Pacheco, Nick Stracener, Edson Pride, Hex Hector, Joe Gauthreaux, Nina Flowers & Edu Quintas.  D-STU has deejayed all over the country and all of the world spinning at massive festivals and parties including Winter Party Festival (Miami), Black & Blue Festival (Montreal), GayDayS (Orlando), Sydney Gay Mardi Gras, Market Days (Chicago), Aspen Gay Ski Week, Folsom Street Fair (San Francisco), Prism (Toronto), Rapture (Vancouver), Cherry (D.C.), Southern Decadence (New Orleans), White Party Weekend (Miami) to name a few and at some of the largest clubs around including Discotekka (Miami), Score (Miami Beach), The Cuff (Seattle), ARQ (Sydney), G.A.Y. (London), Eagle (Wilton Manors), Eagle (Dallas), Eagle (Austin), Eagle (OKC),, Unity (Montreal), Towne (D.C.), Oz (New Orleans) to name a few.  D-STU’s style is under the “circuit music” label.  In 2017 D-STU took a hiatus in the music field to pursue a women’s volleyball coaching job at Florida Atlantic University in South Florida.  D-STU made his return to deejaying in October 2021 playing at the Living Room/District Hotel and Faces Nightclub in Oklahoma City.  His return to the “circuit” commenced in January 2022 as he deejayed the Atlantis Cruise Bon Voyage Party at Twist on South Beach in Miami.  D-STU made his return to GayDayS in Orlando in the summer of 2023 after a 6-year hiatus.  DJ D-STU made his RAM Party debut at HalloWOOF in Dallas alongside DJ’s Paulo & House of Labs. June, 2024, D-STU spun the premier OMW party, RIPTIDE Party at Disney’s Typhoon Lagoona in association with OMW (One Magical Weekend) & Bear Jamboree.

Initially established in 2003 at The Eagle in London’s Vauxhall, Horse Meat Disco has evolved into a powerful force in queer and club culture as a whole, while staying local to its original home, each and every Sunday. Co-founded by James Hillard and Jim Stanton, and encompassing residents Severino and Luke Howard, the crew continue to maintain not only the weekly Sunday party, but a number of residencies in cities across the world, alongside a kaleidoscope of club appearances, festival dates and specially curated mixes.

Taking inspiration from a diverse, counter-cultural history of clubs and DJs, as well as from the sprawling, ever-expanding musical collections of it's resident crew, the sound of HMD is impossible to place. Nonetheless their style is undeniable, as is a popper-scented air of sheer authenticity. Rooted in hedonism, rhythm, freedom and emotion, a Horse Meat Disco set reinforces everything invigorating about disco, as comfortable as shattering old-school mirror ball cliches as basking in their light.

A typical HMD set blends classics, italo disco, house, oddities and punk funk, to conjure their initial spirit of “a queer party for everyone”, including, but not limited to, “Homos and Heteros, club kids, bears, fashionistas, naturists, guerilla drag queens and ladies who munch.” They have made appearances on every notable club scene in the modern world, as well as those beyond, and have long been a key fixture at festivals including Glastonbury, Bestival and Festival No.6.

Outside of the club, the Horse Meat Disco train rolls across the airwaves on Rinse FM, where the crew hold down a weekly residency every Sunday afternoon, serving as a pre and post-club Sunday lunch accompaniment, often delving into the more soulful shades of their sublime taste, often encompassing rave groove, gospel and whatever they can’t get away with on the dancefloor (which, as the years have proven, isn’t much). A series of expertly curated and acclaimed compilations for reissue label Strut helped further cement HMD’s formidable but communal reputation as disco masterminds, spreading their sound and many enviable obscurities into front rooms and record bags across the world. Their latest, ‘Meat Me Down the Disco’, was released on Z Records in 2017.

After decades of crate digging, globetrotting and partying, the HMD story continues apace. 2017 also saw the crew record their long-awaited contribution to BBC Radio 1’s ‘Essential Mix’, as well as their first joint foray into production, ‘Waiting For You To Call’, featuring Roy Inc., and released on their own, self-titled imprint. They are currently working on new music to be released with Glitterbox, with the new single ‘Let’s Go Dancing’ released in December 2018.
