Richie has been living in a electronic music fantasy land since 1992.  He's originally from SF/Bay Area. At the young age of 16 he was producing massive rave events such as Sanctuary, Realm.... In his 20s, he took up DJing and working clubs around the world. Through the years Richie has made passage through many different scenes and circles through his life time. He has played with many of the legends such as DJ Dan, Donald Glaude,  LTJ Bookem, Fred FM, DJ Seven, Rick Preston, Miguel Migs.. just to name a few. Currently he is a founding member of Shasta Vibes DJ Collective and is settled with his family in N. State California. 

Richie's love of Electronic music began mid 80s with his love of Electronic music when he discovered artists such as DEVO, Kraftworks, Sly and Robbie, Yellow, 808 State, The Prodigy, Temple of Dreams, The Orb, Young American Primitives, NASA and so many pioneers of electronic music. As a pioneer himself, he is constantly delivering new sounds beyond the scope of current mainstream music trends and pushing the boundaries of sound keeping it experimental and fresh. ‘Hot Girl Economics’ and the ‘ToonTime RMX’ projects are a collection of original remixes, dirty flips and comedic relief tracks inspired by adult cartoons, witty banter & musical nostalgia produced and arranged with copious amounts of attitude, flavor and funk. 

What started as an idea to jokingly remix some juicy content has now become a mission to reinvent the energy of the dance-floor and make it WILD again❗️

With tags like 'Kinky Breaks', 'Slut Step' and 'Nuru Metal' ~ this music knows no musical bounds and feeds on audience engagement for suggested sample selections; both creative and crude, to keep the beats dirty and the licks 'n' loops even dirtier. Yakøv is a Denver based multifaceted musician. Born in 96' in Ulan-Ude, Russia, starting off with classical piano training and inspirations found growing up in Texas amongst a mix of chopped and screwed, R&B, southern rap and the broader realms of hip-hop. As a early teenager, he delved into the world of freestyling, rapping and beat making on a bootleg copy of FruityLoops 8.

Yakøv reemerged during lockdown, learning CDJs and reigniting his passion for music production. Seamlessly weaving influences from a myriad of genres – hip-hop, DNB, phonk, UKG, breaks, IDM, grime, R&B, downtempo, halftime, leftfield, and anything rachet. Yakøv is gaining momentum as a genre-fluid/DNB DJ and producer with a unique sonic palette.
