Kitschy Gloomy was born along the shores of Gitchee Gumee, randomly forged in a yearly staple of the Duluth music scene - Rock & Roll Kamikaze. After a month of rehearsing together and hanging out, we took the leap of musical faith and decided to become a real-real band, and have been melding our diverse creative influences into some vigorous songwriting during the cold & snowy days of January. The prospect of playing in a fresh project, with fresh writing collaboration, along with the pure excitement of the future has kindled a special flame among us very early on.
