Johan Lewis de son vrai nom Yohan Deketelaere né à Charleroi en 1983 est tombé amoureux de la musique électronique à 14 ans. 

Cette homme originaire de la Martinique tient  son gôut pour la musique house tech house et techno dans les années 2000. 

Son ouverture d'esprit et sa conscience musicale lui ont ouvert les portes de certains club branchés tel que LOUISE GALLERY , STEEL GATE, WOODCLUB à Bruxelles, 
NOXX à Anvers et s'exporte à FRANKFURT où il a été résident. 

Après quelques années de pause Johan nous fait son comback recommence les clubs et au fil des voyages et rencontres il commence à produire ses propres sons et signe des labels connu comme

When I first started making electronic music back in 2002, I was honored to win a remix contest judged by Joachim Garraud a few years later in 2006. 

This opened doors for me to release several original tracks and remixes on renowned labels like Ultra Music, Zemixx, Ministry of Sound, Definitive Recordings (founded in 1992 by John Acquaviva and Richie Hawtin), Yin Yang Records, Interlabel Records, Plasmapool Entertainment,Kumquat Tunes, Gumdigital (first digital label F*** Me I'm Famous!), Semantica Records, Kult, Kingdom Kome Cuts, Ho-Ju Records, D-Tracks, In & Out Recordings, Bitrate Records, Embassy One, Resolution Records, Digital Deejay, Stereo Poems, ZYX Records, and many more.

I had the great luck to be playlisted by renowned DJs such as John Askew, Simon Patterson, Oliver Moldan, Jaytech, Jens Lissat & Voltaxx, Joachim Garraud and even Hernan Cattaneo. 

Through my remixes for Joachim Garraud, I had the opportunity to work with renowned singers such as Chris Willis and DJ Roland Clark.

But a few years ago, although I never stopped producing in the studio, I was feeling uninspired to release tracks and simply needed a change of pace creatively. 

I finally learned music theory and learned the viola. This passage has always seemed complementary and obligatory to me. Mastering an instrument can only help to improve on several levels.

I also realized my desire to mix as a DJ and no longer confine myself only to the studio. It opened up very rewarding new perspectives for direct exchanges with the public and gave me the opportunity to test my own tracks directly on the dancefloor. The emotion that can be felt during a dj set with the public is truly indescribable.

Now in 2023, I’m refreshed and motivated to bring my new musical vision to life. 
My music style ranges from pure and hard techno to melodic and progressive house.

So much has changed in the industry since my initial releases - streaming, social media, new tech, innovative artists. I'm embracing all these changes and love discovering fresh sounds daily.

I started my own label “Release Vibes” to better understand the full landscape today. But most importantly, I’m just focused on honing my craft again. 

This time, the art itself is my priority rather than chasing industry benchmarks.
 
I find inspiration from a diverse range of influences – from classical composers like Verdi to the euphoric energy of 90's trance classics to the groundbreaking Belgian new beat and acid house  pioneers to Detroit techno innovators to Germany’s electronic music visionaries.

The focus remains on my personal evolution as an artist. The rest is in the hands of the music itself.

As a DJ, I played at events such as: Halloween Soirée Fériaud Festival, (Paris), Fête de la Musique (Luxembourg), Cave Brussels / Barrio Café, Background Morning After.

En tant que DJ, Nick In Time s'est produit lors d'événements tels que le Festival Halloween Soirée Fériaud (Paris), la Fête de la Musique (Luxembourg) et la Cave Brussels, Background Morning After.

DJ Elias started his career in 1990 in Palma de Mallorca, and in 1994, after having played in the best Mallorca clubs, he decided to take his chance in Ibiza where, just arrived, he signed up as resident DJ at “Space” on a very special date for him: the 6th of August, the day of his birthday.
From then on, his career spread out at international level, opening him the doors to Paris where just after the Ibiza season, he became resident DJ at the “Queen”, the most popular club in the city.
Once there, he got influenced by the French Touch and the New York Sound, a particular sound played at Kit-Kat (Le Palace), the most elegant afterparty that he had ever seen where people danced the night away until midday on a deep sound.

Throughout his career has played in some of best clubs in the world according to the DJ MAG top 100 clubs such as Space, Amnesia or Pacha in Ibiza or Fabrik in Madrid,  also in fashion events like the “Bread & Butter” in Barcelona. and many other clubs worldwide.

He currently lives in Mallorca and he’s resident DJ at “La Démence” in Brussels for 19 years (thus making him the most ancient resident of this party), also "Circuit Festival" in Barcelona since the beginning of this festival where he currently plays at "MegaWoof!" party, and "My Pleasure" in Madrid.

He worked for important record labels like Bedrock Records, Stereo Recordings and Stomp Recordings, this latter he set up with his associate José de Divina.
He also worked for Wargram Music, the French label with which he recorded the collection “WADKlubmix by Elias/Paris/Ibz” and issued by the prestigious WAD Magazine.
25 years of experience and personality are reflected in his sets, where he always creates newly fresh and elegant playlists in any of his favourite styles: deep and Nu Disco (for rather “funky” clubs), or tech-house and techno for main rooms.

On the production side, he realised different works with the Stomp Productions group, where titles like Tijuana “Groove is in the air” stand out among others: this latter was remixed by Simon and Moonface and recorder in a double vinyl by Bedrock Records. The disc sold over 30.000 copies – an outstanding success for an underground production - and later recorded also in different compilations of Global Underground – like the ones by Danny Howells, Jon Digweed and Hernan Cataneo.
It should also be mentioned “Burning Drums of Fire”, remixed at that time by Marcello Castelli, edit by Iberican Recordings (a sublabel of Stereo Productions) and many other compilations as well, like the one from DJ Chus.
His last hit “El Sol” is a resounding deep house theme published by the French “Nu Deep Music” and distributed by the famous Italian label “Gotta Keep Faith”.
