Returning to the Selador Sessions, is Australian DJ and producer Jamie Stevens. A stalwart of the scene, as part of the legendary electronic outfit Infusion, through to his solo career, with releases on Bedrock, microCastle, Lost & Found and of course Selador.

His latest work, a collaboration with Anthony Pappa entitled 'Here We Go' on our Selador label is causing a real fuss with DJ's and clubbers alike, and riding high in the Beatport Charts.

The new born label called Magnetism Digital is focusing on a still prospering subgenre: progressive breaks & breaks. The start is quite impressing, as the spanish hero carefully selected 15 of his latest progressive breaks favourite and mixed it into a 92 minute long compilation, to show his love and passion for music and promote the unique essential of floating lush melodies on non 4/4 beats.

Few DJs capture the imagination of prog punters like Australia’s Anthony Pappa. Known for his technical proficiency and ability to mix tracks with surgical precision, he is a generational talent who rightfully became a pivotal scene figure.

With a sound rooted in darker, rebellious tones, he fully embodied the underground at a time when the term still held weight.

Achieving what Pappa did requires a life filled with experiences. Given the way social media, marketing, and promotion have transformed the scene, his story is unlikely to be replicated.

Ascendance 004 // Progressive Breaks

Calxtra Carol was a fixture in our little scene.  Always there to support, chat and create art. I met her back in the NSB days over a decade ago. When she passed away earlier this year it left a hole in our hearts. As we are apt to do we filled that hole with music and love. This is a recording of a mix I made for a celebration of life raid train on March 14, 2025.  We miss you, Carol.  Until we meet again, my friend.

Hi everyone, it feels like it’s been a while since I last posted any music. I had some nice time away on holiday. Fortunately I’m now feeling all refreshed, it’s time to get back into the music. So today, I thought I would drop Gatecrasher Experiences episode 11. In this one I have invited back Rob Kellaghan, this time to change things up, he will be taking on the Early mix, as opposed to his previous late mix, which went down very well. His mix starts with Deep, Proggy sounds which build up gradually and methodically into more uplifting territories which provides a great warm up to pass onto my Late mix, which gets into the more driving and uplifting sounds of crasher, as usual with a few rare hidden gems aswell as being well balanced with some of the more popular classics. Me and Rob both hope you all really enjoy listening to the mix, thanks guys. This mix is available for Free Download.

There are two honest reasons for this. The main reason is that as an artist I have always reinvested any success I have directly back into the music, the show and the art that goes along with it. There is an insightful documentary film on the making of this project to be released alongside the launch of the album, as well as a music video for every song. This "album" is a multi-medium map of my mind and my self. It is personal and honest and I put everything into it.
