DJ Amanda has been a force in the Kansas City house scene since 2001. Known for her heavy, hard-hitting basslines and deep musical intuition, she’s opened for legends like Derrick Carter, Stacy Kidd, Mark Farina, Justin Long, Brett Johnson, Mazi, Karl Almaria, and Pat Nice. Whether she’s crafting a soulful, warming opening set or jacking the house peak-hour style, DJ Amanda knows how to move a crowd.

She fell in love with dance first—growing up choreographing routines to Janet and Paula with friends and learning any move she could get her hands on. In 2001, she stepped into the KC rave scene as a dancer and instantly knew she needed to be behind the decks. Just four weeks after experiencing her first house music community—while sober—she had turntables.

A classically trained violinist, Amanda blends raw rhythm with refined musicality. And when she’s not spinning, you’ll still find her on the dance floor, front and center, giving everything back to the music.

Emerging from Chicago’s house music subculture, Rick Garcia’s infectious sounds have taken the world by storm. As a producer, remixer, & DJ, Rick’s ventures are boundless. His studio endeavors reflect not only the classic house vibe, but fill the mind with soulful rhythms and jazzy latin funk.  When behind the decks he’s unparalleled, driving crowds into uncontrollable frenzies. His newest ventures include the record label - GrassRoots Recordings. This record company was created with the serious intent to bring back the original flavor of Chicago House music in its raw and truest form.

Rick who has nearly 400 production projects under his belt states... “Musically there has been a void for me for many years. It has seemed nearly impossible to find driving house tracks that still had a deep rooted soulful essence. Therefore, I felt a need to create GrassRoots: filling that void and hopefully reviving the driving force behind House Music”. A veteran behind the decks and in the studio, Rick has topped the charts all over the world, including #1 songs on countless radio stations all over Europe. Original tracks like “My Way”, “Jungle Jazz” and the “Revolution” have propelled Rick into an internationally renown remixer and producer. His newest endeavor “Can You Feel It” is a joint collaboration between himself, Ron Carroll and the man behind the worldwide hit “Lady”, Richard Grey.
