First batch of edits from this summer are 2 stompin' disco joints, reconstructed & chopped for extra grooviness. First of the two, "Get to Dancin' (Disco Dub)" is a dance classic that grooves with a funky keys-lick & a ferocious bass-breakdown that has been packin' the floors for years. While the music is splendid, I wanted a version with different vocals, so I took on the duty myself of creating a new version that will hopefully light up some dancefloors! The second tune, "Never Stoppin' (Extended Disco Mix) is a recent, rather obscure find off of the TK subsidiary, Marlin. This tune packs a big punch with a funky bass-line & some delicious percussion work, another big groove to boot. Unfortunately no great recordings were available (even the remaster) so I had to do with what I had. Cleaned it up the best I could, and chopped it up for maximum enjoyment!
