With more of an emotional focus than symbolic this time, it's clear this one is from Bone's heart. Detroit Is ... Soul, ducks and weaves in the grey area between house and techno; the initial percussion that is brushed over the kick giving more of a house swing than a techno groove. The on/off, cut-and-dry synth chords contrast with the looser fluidity in Here To Stay (Won't Fade Away), and gives a real sense of intent and desire. The real focal point however is the profound vocal that comes swirling over the top, "Detroit is what I love, Detroit is what I need, Detroit is where I'm from, Detroit's the air I breathe?" No explanation necessary

Usually, when I go to my festival in two weeks, I don't create many tracks or songs because I get inspired by the great music there. Later, when I am at home, I often test what I hear and get inspired. It has always been the case that after the Electric Love Festival, I am motivated and find writing songs easier. Unfortunately, in our time, I don't particularly like things, such as the pressure to make music or other arts constantly. It's great that there are people who want to help you with your music, but most of them are not what they claim to be. That's why I made the track "Next True Story" about the crazy social media life: Win Zone by Asota Music 2024

Originally released on vinyl by R&S in 1994, ‘Meditation Will Manifest’ was re-earthed in 2016 by Nina Kraviz and Ricardo Villalobos, becoming a secret weapon on dancefloors 22 years after its original release. On December 16, ‘Meditation Will Manifest’ gets its first digital release on R&S.
 
Josh Wink has always been ahead of musical trends and walks his own path in dance music. From a young age Wink was exposed to different mysticism and consciousness philosophies. “It wasn’t a big, popular or trendy thing to do at the time, but I was 14 and just did what my mother did… Releasing tracks like ‘Meditation Will Manifest’ and ‘Higher States of Consciousness’, people looked at me as being this deeply profound spiritual guy, but I never really thought about it in that way, even though I’m really into repetitive, transcendental and meditative rhythms. Tresor Records marks its 250th release with a very special project indeed. Continuing to forge ahead whilst remaining ever mindful of its legacy, Tresor proudly presents Infiniti - The Remixes: a trilogy of classic cuts and new reworks from one of its original Detroit linchpins Juan Atkins.

Dubbed as his “pure techno” project, Atkins produced two full-length albums under the Infiniti moniker—The Infiniti Collection, released by Tresor in 1996, and Skynet two years later. 16 years on and they are as relevant today as they were pioneering then, brought further up-to-date here with a series of fresh takes from some of techno’s pioneering and esteemed figures: Thomas Fehlmann, TV Victor, Function, Redshape, Sleeparchive and the re-release of dubtechno vanguard Moritz Von Oswald's remix of "Think Quick", originally released in '94 on Metroplex.

Part One - The Orb’s Thomas Fehlmann picked two tracks, one in each album, to form a very special combo-mix. The shimmering “Walking On Water” and "Raindrops" come together in a beautiful old-school sounding version. Tresor Records ambient stalwart TV Victor plies his vision to present a hypnotic take on the gently elevating “Thought Process”. 

Part Two picks up the pace, heading further down the timeline with “Flash Food”—originally released in 1995 as part of one of the label’s famous annual compilations, re-edited by Sandwell District’s Function. Skynet’s punchy classic on the flip, “Skyway” rounds off the EP with a killer old-school remix by techno’s masked crusader Redshape.

Part Three concludes with a remix package of The Infiniti Collection’s brooding slow-burner “Think Quick”, backed with an offering from one of Berlin’s revered electronic practitioners Sleeparchive and the re-release of Moritz Von Oswald's remix, initially released on Metroplex in 1994 - a rarity.

Some even call it a stimulative vibratory influenceable metamorphosis. Others, like Susan’s “De Sluwe Vos”, calls it a Trans Magnetic Stimulation. As the synth kicks in, the tempo appears to speed up. Speed is all you need was this beautiful tagline I read somewhere. Be fast, young soldiers, because the art of psychology is deeper than you’d expect.

The significance of the club residency can’t be underestimated; it gives artists the opportunity to build a tight knit community around the party, regulars know what they are in for, and word of mouth spreads the vibe and new guests arrive to check out the experience. The residency becomes by extension a community hub, for shared ideals, values, and experiences. A place to discover new acts, enriching reputations, taking things FURTHER.

Drawing on the vibe from the residencies he had coming up. Bone’s idea is to have top quality music from the first song to the last song. It’s not going to be the artist’s regular set; it's going to be people bringing their A game. Different styles outside their usual vibe. Taking the interment, friendly feeling of bringing people into his living room that was created at the original FURTHER
and turning it into a house party. RADION’s multiple rooms and layout allows for us to create the old warehouse feel of a different mood in different rooms whilst not losing the intimacy which makes FURTHER unique.

The mastermind alongside manager and Wife Ahnne Araza, DJ Bone’s role will be mixed, whether opening or closing the party, or not performing at all if he does not fit the vibe. He will be omnipresent with the careful curation of each monthly show. With RADION offering a blank canvas to create their vision.

FURTHER features an ever-revolving artists/djs both established headline acts, legends and emerging talents.

As Bone Says “I want to transform the environment physically and auditorily. Help break new music and foster new talent; I don't believe in social media as the springboard for DJ’s, it should be what they can do in the booth... That's what a residency was about. It is about listening to the new tracks that’s hot before the hype. It’s about the old school values that used to be prevalent.
