Omid 16B is one of those names that seems to have been on the cutting edge of cool house and techno for as long as you can remember, and thats because he is a consistent provider of the finest music and is loved by the Worlds biggest DJs, Omid 16B is the epitome of coolness.
His debut on Sudbeat sees Omid 16B introduce the cross numeric title “Nu1' taking you on an underground voyage, with railroad like horns sweeping across the intro before the hypnotic bassline creeps in, adding drive and energy, complimented by clever fx and delays to create tension and atmosphere.
This sublime yet subtle gem seems to pack above its weight, as its mysteriousness locks you in to its mystifying vibe, before its tale explodes into layers of what one would describe as a ‘melodic masterpiece’ whilst still being restrained and most certainly raising a smile on the dance floor.
Darin Epsilon is a perfect choice for remix duties here, with his rich vein running in respect to the original, adding warm and carefully programmed sounds to add a variation but holding the vibe beautifully here, as warm subby bass meets the gorgeous melodies to create an end of night moment to leave your dance floor beaming with delight.
And if that wasn't enough for you, Kevin Di Serna who has previously appeared on Omid 16B's Alola and the mighty Sudbeat was chosen by Omid & Hernan personally as the the obvious choice to fulfil this package.
His tasty rework cuts things rights back, chills the vibe, and creates a fantastic escape for the mind and feet.
A superbly musically balanced package, impossible to over look this gem!

It's been twenty years since the release of X-Press 2's début single, 'Muzik Xpress' and the fine fellows over at Skint Records are re-releasing the seminal track to remind the kids what 90's house music was really all about. The re-release comes with 2008's remix from Nicole Moudaber and a brand new remix from Eats Everything.

Timmo returns to Terminal M to release his highly anticipated debut album ‘Starlight’ this September. 
 
Since making his debut in 2008, Bulgarian talent Valeri Ivanov, aka Timmo, has swiftly become a name of note within the current techno landscape following with a string of releases via some of the biggest labels in the scene, from Adam Beyer’s Drumcode and of course Monika Kruse’s Terminal M imprint. Having emerged as a core figure for the label following his collaboration ‘Violet’ with Kruse back in May, and leading straight on from his ‘Starlight’ EP which featured three tracks from the extensive body of work in early June, the imprint will now welcome the arrival of his eleven-track LP ‘Starlight’, featuring a combination of club-focused tracks alongside more emotive soundscapes. 
 
“’Starlight’ is my debut album, and I’m very happy it’s going to be out on Monika Kruse’s Terminal M. It took me more than a year to finish and create it as an experience, the way I felt it should be. Starting with more melodic tracks, going through more energetic and electric ones and finishing off with some acid. 
 
All 11 songs have been recorded in my home studio in Sofia, using a variety of synths and modules, some dating back to the early 80s like the Roland Juno 60, and some being brand new or improved versions of classic synthesizers such as the Sequential Prophet 6.” - Timmo 
 
Opening via the ominous ‘Leaving Earth’ and flowing straight into the action via the acid laced ‘New Beginning’, the eleven-track project swiftly takes its form as a balance of driving, uncompromising productions accented by subtle interludes and moments  of  space.  Take  for  example  the  bubbling  ‘Solar’  and  the  warping  ‘Belle  Epoque’,  which  keep  the  focus  on oscillating synths and regimented percussion, whilst title cut ‘Starlight’ takes control and ups the energy via soaring lead synths and frenzied electrics. 
 
Next up, ‘Sonic Voyage’ reveals yet another twisting journey as Timmo merges ever-evolving leads with restrained vocal snippets, whilst ‘Vortex’ and ‘Spacefreaks’ add further energy via a medley of hefty kicks and menacing bass patterns throughout. Entering into the final three cuts, ‘Rhythm X’ brings forth further infectious 303-lines, tripped out vocal hooks and slick hats to head further into the peak time, whilst the darker ‘Connect’ throws its hat into the mix via a combination of commanding female vocals and choppy bass licks, before arriving at closing track ‘Interspace’ which lowers the tempo and switches the emphasis towards bright synth melodies and calming breaks featuring rich soundscapes to punctuate the project in emphatic fashion. 
 
Channeling main room sonics whilst intertwining rich melodies and softer tones throughout, ‘Starlight’ sees the unveiling of Timmo’s most complete body of work as he continues his ascent as one of his genres leading talents via the ever-impressing Terminal M.

Label boss teams up with one of the heavyweights of the techno world in D-Untiy to collaborate on a heavy pounding techno tune called Pressup. To complete the pack we recruited the techno maestro Eric Sneo and the newcomer Any Mello who both delivered two monster remixes to form one massive hit of a release. A must-have.

Following the internationally celebrated release of their debut album The Signs Within in 2017, burgeoning Japanese techno duo Drunken Kong look to kick off a brand new decade in emphatic fashion, with the release of their eagerly-anticipated sophomore long player, Where We Start.

Out now via Christian Smith's esteemed Tronic Music imprint, Where We Start marks the second full-length opus from the Tokyo-based outfit, whose impressive catalogue of unique techno productions have also been homed by the likes of Terminal M, Octopus Recordings, Stil Vor Talent and Session Womb to name a few.

Featuring a total of sixteen diverse cuts, including thirteen brand new Drunken Kong originals, two recent collaborations with Mainz-based outfit Teenage Mutants and one exclusive new collab with Tronic head honcho Christian Smith, Where We Start is Drunken Kong's most extensive body of work to date, and goes a long way in showcasing the inexhaustible creativity of one of the most prolific double acts in techno right now. 'Our new album, 'Where We Start' was built around an idea and inspiration that came from our new stage in life, which was parenting. It’s all about the music. New York stalwart and beloved DJ, Boris, lives by that statement each and every day. He is a man wearing many hats; one as a touring DJ, another as a producer dynamo and lastly as a label boss of Transmit Recordings. A career forged over decades of long nights in the Big Apple’s most revered rooms. From the infamous Roxy to Crobar to the once dominating Pacha NY on 46th Street, Boris maintained a following so devout, so loyal they were truly ‘Believers’. Pioneering a music movement in a city filled with those who have so little time to pay attention, Boris has been a production powerhouse when not performing for the masses. He’s been tapped by industry leaders such as Carl Cox for his label Intec, Dubfire for his label Sci-Tec, Paco Osuna and his Mindshake records, amongst countless others.

His ability behind the decks and in the studio has not only made him a New York favorite, but his music has taken him places all around the world ranging from the shores of Playa Del Carmen to the magical White Isle known as Ibiza. Known to many as the ‘DJ’s DJ’, Boris has had the career most DJs can only wish to have. The trends, they may change but the New York native has stayed true to his drum driven sounds and created his own niche in the wide and vast world of electronic music. Taking bits and pieces from every part of the globe he visits, Boris always maintains a piece of home in his music. 

Even though his career spans nearly three decades, the journeyman DJ has yet to falter. We currently find him playing leading to destinations across the globe and his music is in high demand with forthcoming releases many sought after labels, Boris will is constantly on the tips of the younger generation’s tongue. Why? Because talent, like wine, gets better with age.
