The history of the DJ & producer duo and couple Local Suicide stretches back over a decade to the year 2009. Since meeting, Munich-born Brax Moody and Thessaloniki native Vamparela have collaborated together on various projects, all culminating in the conception of Local Suicide in Berlin. Local Suicide’s distinctive sound, is an energetic fusion of new wave, slow techno, post disco and acid house that they themselves have given the name technodisco, while Beatport declared them as one of the key figures in the uprising dark disco scene.
Their DJ career has carried them to all four corners of the world, whipping crowds into a frenzy at Lollapalooza, Melt!, ADE, Off Sonar, Festival Forte, Berlin Festival and almost every club the German capital has to offer. Their live cuts have been honed to perfection with years of shows alongside the very best in the scene, even being invited by New Order to warm up for their live performance. This hectic schedule has taken them across Europe, Asia, North Africa, South America and the United States. As the faces behind some of the most prolific parties Berlin has to offer, these two were the driving forces of the infamous T.O.F.U (Too Old For Understatement) parties, which are just one of the many marks that they have left on the Berlin underground scene.

TR139 - David Body

For over a decade, @djkacpa has been helping the Wrocław (Poland) scene to be what it is today. Initially active in hip-hop, he eventually became absorbed into electronic music.

With his first collective, "Fly or Die", he transformed unusual spaces – from the City Port to the Mill – into party venues. He’s also behind such projects as "HeartBeats", "OOBE" and "Silberberg Festival", but the most significant influence on the shape of the Polish scene he’s been exerting through the Ciało club, of which he is the founder and artistic director - being responsible for top bookings in the country.

The broad interest in various types of music can be heard in Kacper's sets, oscillating between hypnotic techno and a new-school house full of electro and dark disco vibes. In recent years, he found most fulfilment in this latter, lighter version – mainly as half of the kappa e ravve duo, created with a long-time friend Raev. Recently, Kacpa has also released his alter-ego. “DJ Sleepover” combines his fascination with ghetto tech / ghetto house and electro aesthetics.

Lately, he became co-creator of "THE CAT CLUB"  series, dedicated to Dark Disco, Italo, Body and Indie Dance.

It’s all about the music. New York stalwart and beloved DJ, Boris, lives by that statement each and every day. He is a man wearing many hats; one as a touring DJ, another as a producer dynamo and lastly as a label boss of Transmit Recordings. A career forged over decades of long nights in the Big Apple’s most revered rooms. From the infamous Roxy to Crobar to the once dominating Pacha NY on 46th Street, Boris maintained a following so devout, so loyal they were truly ‘Believers’. Pioneering a music movement in a city filled with those who have so little time to pay attention, Boris has been a production powerhouse when not performing for the masses. He’s been tapped by industry leaders such as Carl Cox for his label Intec, Dubfire for his label Sci-Tec, Paco Osuna and his Mindshake records, amongst countless others.

His ability behind the decks and in the studio has not only made him a New York favorite, but his music has taken him places all around the world ranging from the shores of Playa Del Carmen to the magical White Isle known as Ibiza. Known to many as the ‘DJ’s DJ’, Boris has had the career most DJs can only wish to have. The trends, they may change but the New York native has stayed true to his drum driven sounds and created his own niche in the wide and vast world of electronic music. Taking bits and pieces from every part of the globe he visits, Boris always maintains a piece of home in his music. 

Even though his career spans nearly three decades, the journeyman DJ has yet to falter. We currently find him playing leading to destinations across the globe and his music is in high demand with forthcoming releases many sought after labels, Boris will is constantly on the tips of the younger generation’s tongue. Why? Because talent, like wine, gets better with age.
