oi 🤠 Jerry here with another mashup mix. This one is a little different from what you're all used to from me, but we decided to switch things up with a mix filled entirely with country music! The country mashups in BTM11 were a huge hit and I've been asked by so many people to make more country mashups, so I figured it's what the people want. This one is perfect for summer. 

Am I crazy for making an hour-long country mix? Absolutely, but I hope you all enjoy it.

I'll upload a tracklist eventually, but just comment if you need an ID.

Shoutout to @wearesry and @jason-barreira for gathering a bunch of the acapellas for me, and to all the artists that provided the instrumentals.

Exploited Club warmly welcomes Brazilian talent Cour T. who serves up 4 of his trademark distilled, high impact dance floor cuts.

At just 22, Cour T. has already laid the groundwork for a vibrant and fruitful career. His debut LP 'Brain Deals' for San Francisco label Dirtybird and subsequent support from the Hot Creations crew saw him propelled into a space reserved for only the most propitious and hard working.

He's continued to deliver with each step that's followed, growing in scale and swag as he has and his next EP for Exploited Club is yet another progressive step on course.

'Disko Blow' kicks us off with a lean slice of Italo. All excess is trimmed leaving behind a refined selection of dry, brawny sound that smacks with maximum impact. An elastic synth rings out while psychedelic FX burst in a fractal flurry while the ebb and flow of the track moves with an arresting quality guaranteed to whip up serious floor fervour.

'Empires' slaps in with comparable force as a whetted drum break nips over a boisterous and playful bass line. Sassy guitar licks breath in some balmy air while delayed signals almost provide a delicate dub seasoning to an otherwise straight-up House groove.

'Eple' follows up with a a steamy, Ghetto-edged vibe that's powered by a turbo snare and a shark-bite bass line. Another masterclass in arrangement unfolds as the track grows more and more muscular across it's chapters, giving it that fail-safe quality and rendering it highly playable.

'7th Desire' finishes up with a rich and potent sound layered with delays, melodies and FX that braid together into a misty mood. An extended, humid breakdown has energy swelling up before accumulating at full force; vocals shining through a rushy, eye-widening conclusion'.

BIOGRAPHY:

Brad Smith is one of the pioneers of Electronic Dance Music in Florida in the early 90’s. Brad started his career in the underground Acid House and Happy Hardcore scene at WBUL in Tampa. In 1992, Brad began his club DJing career at the infamous "Rave-O-Ween" in Tampa, Florida. 
His roots go back to Rave/Techno spinning tracks such as Eon - Spice, Human Resource - Dominator and KLF – 3am Eternal. Several years later, Brad was involved in the establishment of the sub-genre: Florida Breaks. His name is synonymous with Anthems, whether he is crafting them in the studio or catapulting a crowd into a frenzy. Brad stormed into the DJ arena 1992 and has never slowed down! Brad has also kept the same furious pace in the studio with more than 450 tracks and remixes released. From his early years as Mr. Smith (Breaks) and Praying Mantis (DnB and co-founder of Stateside collective) to his more recent works as Sleven (Tech House/Techno), PlayLoud (Electro House, Progressive House, Big Room House) and Spit 'n' Blood (Dubstep). Brad has had 33 Beatport Top 100 hits in Progressive House, Electro House, House, DnB, Dubstep, Breakbeat, Glitch Hop and Psy-Trance. Brad has remixed such notables as Capital Cities (of “Safe and Sound” fame), Interglaxtix (bass player from Heart’s own band), pop sensation Right Said Fred (of "I'm Too Sexy" fame) and Salme Dahlstrom - "C'mon Yall" which can be heard on Suave TV commercials. In addition, Brad’s own track “Something You Can’t Believe” will be featured in 2015 and 2016 on the TV shows “Keeping Up With The Kardashians” and MTV’s “Catfish”. Brad owns and runs the underground label, Crescent Records; established in 1996.
