Broken Robot - Stranger From After

Frantisek Urban aka DJ Franke has begun his interest in electronic music around year 1993. At first he was only wondering around in local clubs and by the year 1999 he is already active with his own DJ performances. Presently he is a leading representative of the next generation techno Czech DJ´s with performances in clubs around the country and in neighbouring Slovakia. 


Year 2003 is the date when he joins the Basswave booking agency and remains loyal but quite shortly he also joins CTRL agency operated by the part of the czech largest dance music site sewer.techno.cz. At the beggining of the year 2006 he leaves Basswave agency only to become exclusive member at Sewer and resident of the Bass Wave Attack and Incubator night at the Prague´s club Guru. Incubator nights are at present time held under new name Incubator Tour.In Prague, he was a resident events BassWave Attack, Incubators and since 2005 a resident of Open Air Summer Session, which takes place at Žďákovský bridge near Eagle Lake. Another resident BPM Festival is open air Třich Dvory at Cologne. In early 2014, is embarking on promoting Czech techno abroad with his Czech Techno Manufactory show on Hungarian radio Art Style: Techno to which he invites a Czech techno DJ.


His performances include supports to many czech and international DJ´s such as Nika 77, LayDee Jane, K.Sandra, Agent, Pavel Krejdl, Daho & Ginger, Elektrabel, Kaisersoze, Roman Hyde, Monotype, Marcelo K2 aka The Pusher (Brazil), Fernanda Martins (Brazil), Candy Cox (Brazil), James Ruskin (UK), Voidloss (live PA; UK), Inigo Kennedy (UK), Kwaczo (UK), Greg Zogg (UK), Dill Zogg (UK), Industrialyzer live (PT), Spiros Kaloumenos (GR), Greg Notill (FR), Christian Wünsch (ESP), Mario Ranieri (AT), Torsten Kanzler (DE), O.B.I. aka Tobias Lüke (DE), Mike T (DE), Andrew (DE), Boss (SK), Toky (SK), Djane Mayla (SK), Ultra (SK), Cosmo (SK), Vega (SK), Chambermaid (SK), Baloo (SK) 


DJ Franke is mainly techno orientated but he can do house music from time to time.
