The Stiggz hail from the Leicestershire / Derbyshire border and since forming in early 2008 have been confirmed as one of the leading bands to watch on the Midlands music scene. 

Since sending a demo to radio DJ Janice Long, who featured songs on her Radio 2 and Radio WM shows, the band have gone on to have nine tracks picked up by radio stations to date.

2010 was another big year for The Stiggz.  In January they supported Mercury Records, Tiffany Page at The Musician before going on to great success in OBS10 and three major festivals over the summer packing the marquee at Summer Sundae Weekender, Strawberry Fields and Glastonbudget, where they were interviewed by The Sun and Q magazine.
 
April saw the release of the debut album, Don’t Read The Small Print, which The Wave raved ‘puts artists like Kaiser Chiefs and Temper Trap to shame.’  Following radio play across Europe, the album sold in The UK, USA, Spain, France, Sweden, Germany, Norway and Finland.
 
Over the summer they spent 10 weeks on the UK Unsigned Chart, when Speaking of Improper Conduct went top 10.  A demo of the same track simultaneously topped twelve charts on DAB station Amazing Tunes in 2009.

The success gained the band national attention when they were approached by national music and fashion magazine Clash Music to take part in a photo shoot for Italian Brand Replay.  After playing two acoustic sets at Pilot for the brand, they featured in a double page spread in the November issue of Clash Music.  

The magazine shoot coincided with the release of a single Indie Disco, which the band agreed to give all profits from to BBC Children in Need.  As a result they received support from HMV who stocked the single in four midlands stores (Leicester, Derby and two in Birmingham).  The first official video for the single being played on BBC Big Screens around the Midlands in the lead up to release.


Hi there. My name is Louie Lopez and i'm a House and Disco DJ & producer based in Nottingham in the UK. I've been DJing on the UK House scene for over 30 years under various different identities, and during that time I've been lucky enough to play for many of the biggest brands, clubs and promoters around the globe, including spending 2 years living and working in Ibiza, playing for the likes of Es Paradis, FunkDelux, Garlands, Hed Kandi, Miss Moneypennys ,Pacha, Kanya, Dirtyfunk, M-O-S and El Divino, to name only a few, as well as worldwide bookings for the likes of Pacha, Sonada, Ministry Of Sound and many many more. I've played at many varied events, such as the British Gran Prix, Goodwood festival of speed, and Cowes week IOW. I've also played at countless festivals all over the UK, from Splendid and Strawberry Fields, to Exstatic and Sonada.
I am currently a resident DJ for Discolicious and Glitterati, and also for Disco Made Me Do It.

I host a weekly very popular radio show every Thursday night on Sublime Soundz radio(8-10pm GMT), and I also have a weekly show on US radio station The Freestyle Radio every Monday night from 11pm GMT. I also have a monthly guest mix spots on radio stations all around the world.
Come the weekends you will always find me behind the decks somewhere, continuing to spread smiles across dancefloors with a blissful blend of Funk, Disco and House as only LOUIE LOPEZ can!

Great DJs have three things in common: Passion, talent and that unmistakable X factor. Missred has all three in abundance.
The music drives her, the talent pumps through her veins and the X factor can be judged by witnessing her command behind the decks. She’s no amateur either.
With years of solid crowd-pleasing experience, Missred’s star is on the rise. She has performed in front of the most demanding crowds in South Africa as well as Internationally. Playing at top class clubs & capacity festivals. Missred has also been featured as a regular guest on radio & television shows.

Miss Red was part of an all-female DJ agency which was founded and run
by Lady Lea.Divas on Decks consists of the best female DJ’s in South Africa. The agency is set to promote, protect and book female DJ’s to showcase her full potential and music styles.

In order to grow further as an accomplished DJ, Missred is also involved with hosting her own events.Joined forces with 2lani’s label – Do It Now Recordings as Events Manager. She was asked to release her first album in 2015.Do it Now Records presents Oh So Coy – Mixed by Missred- Available on Spotify & most digital platforms

To add to that Missred also owned her own DJ School. This gives her a more intimate knowledge of the music she plays. Her passion fuels her ambition and she aims to release a few exemplary albums, with productions signed to overseas labels.

In her own words: "I play with soul and emotion. For the two hours that

I’m up there, I share a part of my soul with the crowd and vice versa, without ever saying a word to each other. Nothing excites me and makes me happier than to see so many people, regardless of age, gender, or race, coming together for the love of house music. I’m just grateful to be instrumental in that experience."

Her style of music is broad and reflects her educated and mature taste, taking inspiration from all genres and blending it into an aural experience that can only be described as sublime.
Whether it be minimal tech, electronic or instrumental...As long as we get deep. Depending on where I play and the energy I get from the crowd, that allows me to express my emotions & where I can take them, because as much as I like to educate and inspire, I always remember that we are all together for one reason & that reason is .... The Music!
