Passionate about vinyl electronic music.  Played several "raves" over a decade ago under the name "thekid" and had several continuous vinyl mixtapes.  Focused on areas of trance and jungle.  Now 20+ years later, I may dust off the old Gemini Tables, Gemini 3-Channel Mixer, Discman and Vinyls and produce new mixes.

The underground sound is all that matters.  Whether it be chillout, ambient, deep house, house, tech house, techno, DnB, funk, jazz, nu disco, trance . . . it has to have that gritty underground soul.

Carl Michaels has been mixing house music in Philadelphia and beyond for 20 years.

Jamie Johnson has been a involved with the Philadelphia House Music movement for more than a decade. A founding member of the infamous Philly Soul Collective, who's Philadlephia Experiment party, is the longest running house music event in the cities history. Jamie has shared the decks with some of the leading names in dance music over the years. Not being content with being one of the best house DJ's in the city, Jamie has turned his attentions to producing. Jamie and production partner Carl Michaels have their first EP due to be released on the highly regarded Warmth Recording label.
