Born as Marcio in Lisbon (Portugal) on May 3rd 1983, from Angolan parents 
Dj Emess was exposed to music at a young age. Having shown an affinity for 
music, Emess have always been aware of the culture everywhere he goes, trying 
to understand how people feel music. Living in 
countries like Angola, Cuba & Italy for more than 10 years each, he was able to get into the culture of those countries. 
He started to play in parties in Cuba since 
the age of 14th, but is career took off in 2003, propelled by a loyal 
following that loved the mind-bending sounds of Dj Emess. 
With influences ranging from Latin Music, African Music and American Music, this is one DJ who isn't afraid to innovate and try something new, 
always trying to impress his followers with new Music.

EMESS , nasceu em Portugal, filho de pais Angolanos, foi criado em Cuba, actualmente reside em Berna (Suica). Tem vindo a desenvolver o seu trabalho com muita humildade e dedicação, ao longo dos últimos anos tem ganho o reconhecimento das pessoas e o seu trabalho tem sido valorizado por todos os amantes da musica House. E um Dj com uma cultura musical muito variada por ter vivido nos países acima descritos, gosta de juntar as diferentes culturas musicais de America Latina, Africa e Europa.
