Just happy to get to do an in person party for the Opel 19 Year Anniversary in the waning days of this f'ing pandemic, we celebrated on a beautiful Spring day into night on the street at Midway.  With long time friends Gabriel & Dresden headlining, and with the excuse of anniversary indulgence, I played much more melodic and trancey than my usual sets, complete with indulgent emo vocals and build ups.  As you'll see in the track listing though, I also played some fav's in the melodic house and techno veins to keep some sense of restraint.  With permission, a G&D classic towards the end. : )

Big thanks to the Dusty Rhino crew for throwing another amazing party. This was one of the more rockin’ parties I’ve played in quite a while. Dj Dan and company brought it downstairs and the energy upstairs was tuned up all night. As usual, Alvaro had the place jumpin’ when I came on the decks so the first thirty minutes is dirty house (quick shout out to Ejagz and Lushbunny for a couple gems in there). We leveled things off and settled in to a melodic groove around 2:30am. The dance floor was hot till the very end so thank you, from the bottom of my heart. It was an amazing night. -- Chad Clubb

This is a live set played for a small group of close friends on a 48' catamaran while docked in Kea, Greece. It was played from my laptop without a controller, without headphones, and without any gear. We connected two portable Bose speakers danced on the front of the boat until the sun set. It was a magical day! A little messy, but the fun we had comes across in the music. Enjoy

ESCAPE 2017 LATE NIGHT SET - THE WICKEDEST SOUND

Friends 'n' Family is so hard to describe. It's a party but it's also a community. It's light and also sound. It's art and also science. It's whimsy and also deep connection. And for all those reasons, it's just a huge honour to be selected to play.

This set is the second of the entire weekend, starting the party off in the pool. I took a slightly different approach and dug up some old old tracks for a journey of house and breaks and back. Enjoy.

This year's burn was absolutely incredible, and Wednesday night was a crowning moment on the week!  The awesome folks at the Santa Cruz-based Ali Bar-Bar invited me to play after local legend Dancing Mandy from Midnight to 2am, and my Sextant Camp family came en masse to support and dance their tails off!  After a bit of a hectic start (I got there and realized I forgot my power cable for my controller on the Skylark art car and had to race across BRC to get it, come back, and be ready to start in 8 minutes), things started falling into place.  Around 1:55am, their camp lead and the night's closing DJ, Horst, came up and told me to keep playing if I wanted to since the place was going off and we wanted to keep the energy flowing!  It was an incredibly gracious gesture and I happily obliged.  Not a perfect set by any means, but for operating on 2 hours of sleep and playing for 3 hours, I'll take it!  Thank you so much to everyone at Ali Bar-Bar for having me out!!!  It was one of the highlights of my burn!

- 1:43:00 to 2:00:00 (ish)

Thanksgiving weekend helped open up for Lee Burridge 2 days in a row at Midway's 'Outdoor Dining' events, so was a chance to play differently than my usual sound.  119 BPM is not my usual vibe, but loved switching it up. 

It was all new to me music, so you might hear a couple mixing flaws, but loved being able to stay in the mix with nice long transitions, and steady dreamy grooves.  As a deeper set, a good one for re-listens.  Let me know what you think!
