In addition to my already-posted Boatslip tea dance set, I played a 5-hour daytime set at the Crown & Anchor in Provincetown this year, which I'm sharing in three parts. This set presented an opportunity to have a lot of fun and pull out some tracks I haven't used in a while. Please enjoy Part 1 - the warmup - a smorgasbord of disco, daytime house, and some fun throwbacks! Parts 2 & 3 will follow in the coming weeks!

The Crown & Anchor, PTown | July 5th, 2k24 (Part 1)

What a perfect day to have this event where people can express their passion for music through flagging. I was so honored on playing music that had impacted over our multiple generation of journeys along with special remixes and originals of so many classics. I do plan on writing all the titles out. My first official song was "State Of Independance" by Donna Summer, but as I was doing sound check, everybody started flagging and I never stopped. I was at Golden Park in the National AIDS Memorial Grove. My first 25 minutes "warm up" will be a follow up. Our journey continues........

It's been a hot boy summer and there was certainly no exception last month at BUNKER in DC for its BURNING UP Disco Party! I always love playing for my friends at BUNKER and I had so much fun putting this set together - I think there are at least 5 different tracks in here sampling "Love Sensation"! (so see if you can find 'em all!.... plus, there's "Burning Up" tracks from Cevin Fisher, Kylie Minogue... if that burning sensation is involved, you're gonna hear it here!)... this set is a 5-1/2 journey, with things moving from warm-up into high-energy party mode at around the 75-min mark. The "hot stuff" from Part 2 will be coming next week!
