This mix was intended to be our last release of this year in our 20 year series but with the recent loss of one of the best West Coast emcee's, we felt that this light needs to shine bright.
Gift of Gab inspired us, entertained us, and through his music show'd all of us to pursue happiness and be grateful for all we have.

This is #60 for the Classic Underground Hiphop Mix.  We are covering the years of 1973 up to 2015.  In 1973, The Incredible Bongo Band released the classic song, "Apache".  In 2015, El Michels Affair did an instrumental cover of the Wu-Tang Clan's C.R.E.A.M.  This mix starts off where the last Pop Boom Bap Mix for April left off...with De La Soul's "3 is the Magic Number" from their debut album, 3 Feet High and Rising.  This mix goes over 60 minutes and ends with a tease from Biggie Small's "Juicy".
