I began writing raps in 2002 and never looked back.

I went by the stage name Crimson until 2010. The name was an homage to my favorite comic book published by Image and Cliffhanger, but I made it my own explaining that hip hop was the crimson blood that ran through my veins.

In 2010 as I matured in thought and in my writing, I changed my stage name to Artorius; It is the Latin name commonly associated with King Arthur. He is my favorite fictional character because he stood for exceptional values and honor and I wanted to include that in my music from that point on while still delivering fun and lyrical content to strive to be on par with the legend that I share the name with.

I've completed two projects.
A full length mixtape, Messiah in 2008 and an 8 track follow up in 2010, Rise of A King.

In the past I have been affiliated with local San Antonio acts Vandal Records, Hooligan Boy Ent, and ThatRaw.

From 2009-2011 I was Operations Manager for a local college radio station, KUIW.org The Universe.
While there I acted as a DJ and host for over 50 events and had my own show, Crimson's Corner, Friday nights 4-6 where I highlighted and interviewed local talent and discussed songwriting in popular music with guests and co-hosts.

Now, I make music for the love and fun of it and perform for small audiences when I can. I just want to share my music with all those in my city that want to give it a listen.

In 2014 I began on my third project, Dux Bellorum.
"Rise Up" is a track featured on the album.
