Chris Dixis was born in Ougrée in Liège on June 1, 1982. His first club performance was as "Dj Chris" at "Metropolis" in Harsin in 2003 for a Dj contest (he won).

He played in clubs like "Bunker", "Millenium", the "Groove", in several bars on the "square of Liège", at events such as the "jump'in valley". He played a lot in the north of France, with Hardtrance and Jumpstyle-mixes.

In 2012, he decided to change his artist name and to Chris Dixis, he also changed his musical style and created a Soundcloud-page where he shared retro sets. Fans asked for more, so he decided to do this regularly. ...

Thanks to the sharing of his sets, clubs like "Dance Hall", "Arenchi", '' Real '',"Lazzura", "Montini", "La Rocca Backstage", "Le Barocco", '' beachland Festival '' etc. started booking him and he became resident of the Club System Reunions.

Chris shared the turntables with great artists such as Phi-Phi, Ghost, Mackenzie, Dave Kane, Sven Lanvin, Philip, Franky Jones, Jan Vervloet, Youri, Bountyhunter and many others ...

He is well known for Retro House, Trance and Hard Trance but he's also into underground-styles like Progressive House, Techhouse,Melodic House And Techno
Chris Dixis prefers vinyl but is not afraid of modern media.

Chris is a father of 2 children. Chris is the diminutive of his first name Christophe and Dixis is dedicated to his two children DIego and AleXIS .

De goeie jaren meegemaakt net na de New-Beat wat ook volledig Belgisch was net als het vervolg… de House, Trance, Mellow, progressief trance, deep house etcetera… België was TOP en voortrekker dan spreek ik over ‘94, ‘95, en ‘96 ook nog tot 2000 ook nog wel wat maar toen kwamen meer buitenlandse invloeden oa Techno vanuit Duitsland en vanuit de States met de Detroit beat een paar goeie producers en dj’s zeg maar Dave Clarke, Jeff Mills, Green Velvet, Kevin Saunderson, Derrick May, 
Richie Hawtin, uit Japan natuurlijk Ken Ishi en zo naar Duitsland stilletjes aan België binnen geslopen en weg was de belgian sound. Je had die nog maar enkele clubs draaiden dat nog en dan vooral afterclubs. Maar als ik aan de beginjaren denk: At the Villa bij Laurence, de échte Villa, Axiome, La Bush, H2O erna, Lagoa geloof me of niet maar Lagoa is niet altijd die harde stijl gehad zeker ‘93 en ‘94 niet beven nieuwtje misschien vooraleer dj Georges resident werd in La Bush, waar gestart? Lagoa
Phi-phi voor hij zaterdag koos voor zaterdag resident te worden in de Cirao? Lagoa!!! Daarna Frank Biazzi nog ok maar steeds verder en verder naar die harde stijl als inwoner van Menen toen spraken we daar af en zagen we wel wie er was maar om 5u weg richting Doornik daar in een cirkel van enkele km genoeg keuze toch? La Bush, Axiome, H2O, of Moeskroen At the Villa of 1u vertrekken uit Lagoa naar Waregem Cirao phi-pijn en Steve cop… 
En als laatste misschien nog een weetje: bijna allemaal op Radio Galaxie Fm 95.3 gestart! Toen waren de beste dj’s uit noord Frankrijk en west Vlaanderen en ook Antwerpse en vooral door Diki records in Moeskroen en R & S records in Antwerpen.
