It was a cold November evening in the southern suburbs of Prague. A maze in the dark, but here we are at last. Ankali is one of those places where just the music speaks, you know? It was within its walls that we met Ester, an Italian artist based in Prague, whose selection sparked something in us. It is she who is leading the way on our new series of recordings dedicated to a selection of artists who share a part of our artistic sensibility. No limits of genre, no pre-established forms.

With this recording, Ester takes us on a long, dark and progressive journey. A hypnotic mix of electronic body music, industrial hardness, post-punk and deep ambient sounds. No specific script, she lets herself be guided by her instinct.

Starting off February we have Italo Moderni label-head Adrian Marth. The Barcelona-based DJ and producer's style is a fresh take on italo- and space-disco of the 80's, EBM, and electro. This is exemplified in the diverse set of artists that make up Italo Moderni Vol. 1 and subsequent Vol. 2 VA's that include Sophie du Palais, The Brvtalist, Marcelo Giordani, Kid Machine, Antoni Maiovvi, Juanpablo, as well as productions of his own. His contribution to the GF series is no exception, gradually building up from synthy EBM and italo cuts to banging electro and Dutch west coast tracks. Lock in!

CIMERIES started his journey in 2005 as an event organiser and founder of Belarusian music webzines. Since 2009, he also performed as a DJ with his promo group INDUSTRIAL MADNESS.
In the next three years, CIMERIES took part in 60+ gigs in Belarus, Germany, Poland, Lithuania, and Ukraine. His passion to harsh and uncompromising dance music led to invitations to such famed industrial/gothic events as Amphi Festival (Germany), Castle Party (Poland) and Kunigunda Lunaria (Lithuania) where he shared the stage with Suicide Commando, Hocico, Front 242, KMFDM, Covenant and many others.
Later, CIMERIES temporally left the decks and focused on his new project BELARUSIAN FREAKZ DESTROY EUROPE dedicated to building the local community and organizing 70+ trips to industrial music festivals in more than 30 European countries.
In 2021, after a 10-year break and moving to Europe, CIMERIES is coming back with new performances and findings from the modern industrial scene and techno culture.
