Since 1999, the legendary Sunkissed house night has shaped and formed the Oslo club scene thru monthly nights at BLÅ, Fabrikken and now Jaeger, making it the ever longest running club concept of the capitol. 

But it wasnt until 2005 that the first Sunkissed daycruise took place, resulting in a yearly tradition disturbing the residents of the Oslo fjord with an oversized soundsystem on a vessel filled to the brim of smiling house freaks.

This year was no exception as the ship set sail in june, with a captain always destined to find sunshine. OsloClubCast was there to record the atmosphere, covering sets by Olanskii, g-HA and Vinny Villbass, in order of appearance...

Hey everyone, thanks for tuning in again! It’s been a while since I last uploaded a set, and I’m excited to share this one with you. This mix is a collection of the best tracks I’ve been playing over the past few months. A lot has happened since the beginning of the year, and I can hardly believe how fast things have been moving. But even in the chaos, there are always a few tracks that capture the essence of this journey. These are the soundtracks that accompany me through this stage of life.

In this set, I started with a lot of energy sounds, gradually building the rhythm and texture until I reached an improvised jam of tracks I don’t get to play often. I also threw in a few fun tracks that made me dance more than a few times hahaha! The journey begins bright and fun, but as the set progresses, it transitions into a deeper, more underground afterhours vibe. It was a fun jam session, exploring the various styles I use in my sets, depending on the night and the crowd’s vibe. Think of it as a menu of what I can serve on any given night.

DJ Cira tastefully blends many flavors of house and techno with a keen ear for infectious, body moving grooves. Based out of San Francisco, she frequently performs for promoters and collectives around the Bay Area and can be found working the decks at iconic clubs such as 1015 Folsom, Monarch, The Great Northern, and Public Works.

Known for her dynamic stage presence and ability to inspire crowds, Cira started DJing in 1998 after being immersed in the early American rave scene. As a result, her sets showcase a vast knowledge of dance music drawing from a diverse collection that spans over 30 years. She has since shared the stage with international headliners from Purple Disco Machine and Franc Moody to house legends Braxe & Falcon and Doc Martin. Fusing technical mastery with ecstatic energy, DJ Cira has become a staple of the San Francisco underground scene.
