The concept was portrayed in this amazing artwork by Marnie Hamilton from New Scenery featuring some old personal photographs seen through a modern viewfinder, enhancing the contrast between culture, tradition and history and modern society, and how the past can be reinterpreted in new unseen ways.

Hello.

As all of you will be aware the COVID-19 outbreak has effected the lives
of many of us across numerous professions and areas of society. The
entertainment industry is one sector which has been greatly impacted by
the outbreak. I'm now in a situation where all my upcoming shows have
been cancelled & there is still a lot of uncertainty if and when anything
will be rescheduled.

In response to this I've compiled a 10 track LP entitled 'Deleted Cache',
a selection of unreleased tracks from the last 10 years dredged from the
depths of my HDD. This release includes unused album tracks
(inc. an alternate version of 'Android' from my 2018 'Hollow Body' LP)
and some files which were recovered from a permadeath'd laptop.

I understand that many of you are in the same situation as me and are
facing financial difficulties so I've set the minimum price for the whole LP
at £1. If you're in a position to contribute a little more that would be
greatly appreciated but any contribution is really welcome at this time.
Bandcamp are waiving their revenue share on sales for Friday the 20th
of March so this is a perfect time to support artists who are currently
struggling.

The overlap between the organic and the synthetic is Vlad Dobrovolski’s stomping ground. Digitally organised sounds melt into squalling melodies that grow and stretch over and under each other like the fractal leaves of a fern, spiraling inwards and outwards into a tesseract of connective tissue. “The more carefully you listen, the more you hear,” explains the Russian-born sound artist. “No two moments are exactly alike in nature. The song is always changing. I find myself listening in ways I never have before. The scale of my perception has changed. Small, subtle sounds have become singular events. The space around me seems larger than I had realized.”

“Natursymphony No.1 — Spring Music” compiles fleeting waves of thought and feeling into sonic networks that embody the sinew shared by a sprawling forest, the patchwork quilt of human memory, or the post-organic logic of digital collage. Rays of rising sun and fresh air buoy this audio landscape, brimming as it is with synthetic tones and bitcrushed rhythms emerging from surrounding computer caverns. Field recordings are organized in harmony with processed acoustic instrumentation; gongs, flutes, and distorted percussive rhythms.

Probing our consciousness – or perhaps self and spatial awareness – propel forward the seven opuses of “Natursymphony No.1”, like the experience of an awakening itself. Stemming from an awakening of sorts for the artist himself, suddenly alivened in his ability to perceive his surroundings and create musical ecosystems, the nature to be found in this music is a parallel reality in miniature, with its own dusks and dawns, its own blossoming and extinctions, all delicately nurtured by an artist stumbling into a creator role.

Over two decades, Vlad has explored improvised and generative music, sonic collage, and released solo music under a variety of monikers and in various collaborative projects — such as his cassette tape soundscaping duo with Vasiliy Stepanov, S A D. The “Natursymphony” series comes following his personal landmark album, “Non-Deterministic Polynomial Poems” (@Klammklang). Vlad has also participated in residencies and performances throughout both Russia and Japan.

He’s an MC, DJ and producer from Italy, taking part in various collaborative projects such as: Outside The Box (rap duo with paCMan aka Backjumper), 0X6 Posse hardcore rap group (with Tenko Bloodlaire, Skreeba, Whitey, Cospa, DJ Toshiro), and Unctrl Alt Canc, one of the first bass music project in Italy with Nuncha aka Panacef Mishima, since 2009
In 2018 he started his label https://soundcloud.com/antistandardrecs, one of the first label to introduce in Italy subgenres like halftime, grime and experimental bass music. 
 
At the moment, as MC, he's working on three different projects: a mix of vaporwave, noise and grime with Panacef Mishima; a short EP with heavy synths and experimental basslines under his dialect-only grime lyrics with L O S C I; and finally an hardcore rap project called Novembre 87 with paCMan and Tenko Bloodlaire out for Aldebaran Records.

What was a crucial sonic experience in your life? 
Try to live it, in a world that always tries to do the opposite. 

The podcast starts when Think’d recalls listening (serious) music for the first time, violently excluding those Hit Mania Dance era when he tried uselessly to be integrated with his so called “friends”.  Chaotically trying to describe his musical memories by using approximately 2 or 3 essential records per year, you can discover what guided him in the last 23 years.
