Critically acclaimed party starter and hype man, Kemar Joseph p/k/a Blaqrose Supreme Is One Of Barbados' Most Versatile & Elite Deejays.

Kemar "Blaqrose Supreme" Joseph has amassed years of experience being in the field for over a decade. Born on February 2nd, 1990, his musical influences included soca, reggae, dancehall, and hip hop. Blaqrose's priority is honing his deejaying talents while maintaining his own vivid Caribbean mixes with mainstream street flair. Blaqrose has become a household name in Barbados and across the Caribbean, anchoring the weekend 9am to 1pm shift as an Announcer/DJ on Barbados' 98.1 The One, blazing all the newest singles and more. Outside of the studio, he has performed at numerous music festivals, private parties, carnival events, Crop Over bands such as Aura Experience, and other seasonal events. Aside from that, he's worked at corporate events for KIA Motors and other major corporate entities.

His talent took him to the United States in 2016, where he made his international debut at several Miami Carnival events, and then to Boss Club Toronto in 2017 while on tour. In 2018, he continued to demonstrate his voiceover talent by hosting a number of events, including Miss Barbados Universe. Showcasing versatility, he took to the stage alongside Red Bull 3Style 2016 World Champion Deejay Puffy as his 'Micman' during the Reggae Beach Party, a segment from Barbados' biggest festival, the Barbados Reggae Festival. Blaqrose Supreme drops his own soca special edits and mixes, which are always well-received by his faithful followers, with his sights set on expanding into the international music arena. Blaqrose Supreme is the Deejay to watch, as he is confident, devoted, and focused on his craft.

Ricky Palmer, known to many as RICKY PLATINUM was born in Brooklyn, New York, but at a tender age, his Jamaican parents moved to Prince George’s County, Maryland. Ricky is the older of his two sisters. His father, Simeon Palmer, introduced Ricky to the art of music at the age of 4. 

Upon graduating high school, Ricky attended Prince George’s Community College, Music has been Ricky’s passion since his early childhood and he values it as his freedom of expression as well as a healthy escape, to the hard-inner city life that existed right outside his door.
Ricky began his musical career at the age of 17, when he was featured on his uncle’s Blacka Platinum Sound System, known as “Platinum Sound”. Ricky quickly proved himself as one of the sounds best-reviewed selectors. Shortly thereafter, the young selector adopted the stage name “Ricky Platinum.” 

In 2009, Ricky created a weekly event named, “Tipsy Wednesdays” (which has been newly named ALL STAR WEDNESDAYS) which created a buzz within the city and is now ranked as the DMV’s #1 weekly event. This themed- weekly event encourages and attracts audience participation by promoting creativity. Various international artists, DJ’s, local artist and dance groups are able to showcase their talents during this Wednesday night festivity.

Ricky’s extensive music library consists of Soul, Disco, Ska, Culture, Reggae/Dancehall, Soca, Rap, Hip-Hop, R&B, Go-Go and many more, has captured the attention of numerous promoters throughout the world. He specializes in ALL genres of music, which allows him to be classified as one of the most versatile selectors in the business, one that can be heard Every Friday on Ragashanti’s Tambourine Radio. 

He has entertained crowds at some of the most well-known clubs in the DMV such as: Fur Nightclub, Ibiza, Aqua, Lux Lounge, Ultra Bar, Bliss, Eden, Muse Lounge, Tattoo Bar, Layla Lounge, Crystal Lounge, Club Timheri’s and Crossroads Nightclub.

Ricky is now listed as one of the youngest most talented DJ’s in the D.C, Maryland & Virginia area. He has received the “Selector of The Year” Award in the DMV in 2010, 2011 and 2012. 

He was recently featured on FOX5DC for their #DJFridays Weekly Showcase, Baltimore’s Annual Jerk Fest, The Best of The Best Concert in Miami, Florida & British Link-Up in Florida, which features the most elite selectors in the Dancehall Community from the United Kingdom, the United States and Jamaica. 

His talents have granted him the opportunity of becoming an International DJ, receiving bookings throughout the United States, The United Kingdom & various Caribbean islands such as Jamaica, British Virgin Islands and the Bahamas.
