mottengroove VOL I: djcob

Musician, producer, and DJ born in Mar del Plata (Argentina). His musical training began at an early age, graduating at 18 as a music teacher, and later moving to La Plata to study musical composition at the Faculty of Arts. In terms of his live performances, his sets are characterized by constant energy, good skills and the inclusion of many rhythmic elements, and the use of vocals. His goal when playing live is to "create a dialogue with the dance floor." Throughout his career, he has performed at important parties and clubs such as Tango Asuncion, Crobar Club, Niceto Club, NADA, 999, and Club Paraguay, among others. He has also shared the stage with artists like Marc Houle, IMOGEN, PAAL, E110101, and Victoria Mussi. As a producer, Marcos has been consolidating a prolific career, releasing music for several years in both digital and physical formats on labels such as OBSCUUR, Schimmer Records, Bipolar Disorder, Detroit Classic Gallery, and Gomboc Records, among others. Additionally, his music has been remixed by artists like Alarico, Zisko, PAAL, Dj Blush.

“DJ Dreamy” is a new project from @djcob.wav, focusing on emotional, melancholic, and, of course, dreamy trance. In 2023, he started playing gigs as “DJ Hustensaft,” but at that time, he didn’t have a defined sound, so he played various genres like hard trance, hard bounce, and trash.

At the end of 2024, he decided to focus on his own dreamy sound, which is why he changed his name to “DJ Dreamy.” In 2025, his journey begins with gigs at Tranzit, La Cova, and Baalsaal—and, of course, this podcast.”

In this Set y’all hear my Sound i try to evolve since a long time now. The Equipment I played on was a Xone92 with 2x CDJ-2000NXS2 and additional Strymon BlueSky V2 Reverb.

djcob is a Hamburg-based DJ. As a resident at @exit_universe, he is making a name for himself with his distinctive sets. Through extensive layering, he creates an atmosphere of calm yet focused energy that keeps everyone on the dancefloor moving.

He has been honing his DJ skills since 2023, reaching a high level of technical and artistic proficiency. Drawing on techniques from playing nearly every genre, he has developed a unique style that has earned him gigs at some of Hamburg’s biggest clubs. His journey behind the decks continues with unwavering passion.
