Exploding into the new year, Nico Demus and High Jon The Conqueror’s alias “Rukus” deliver the dynamite with 3 original tracks showcasing their and Articulates take on the ever flourishing and constantly evolving funky scene. Remixes come through from Daze Prism with an unexpected UK Funky take on “Flow” vocalled by Magugu, Reprezent Radios Cardinal Sound with a tribal, funky and housey take, and our very own Ali McK & IYZ switch up their original style with a footwork 160 variation. This EP has sound system written all over it. 

The lead track “Flow” does exactly what the title intends it to do. Lagos self proclaimed pidgin rap guru “Magugu” delivers impeccable vocals onto a bouncey, dancehall influenced instrumental containing analogue feeling warehouse stabs, huge snares and jumpy percussion to create a real club banger that’ll get stuck in your head from the very first listen.
