After tantalizing fans with a 3-track preview of the sensational second chapter in their EP trilogy ‘Metamorphic II’, Chad Cisneros and Dave Reed – best known as Texan DJ and Production duo Tritonal – have now unleashed the first track to be taken from it. The eagerly anticipated ‘Follow Me Home’ is set for individual release through Enhanced Music on 23rd September. 

First previewed via their Tritonia radio show, ‘Follow Me Home’ is testament to the electrifying levels of production we have come to expect from Tritonal. Packing a punch from the opening beat, the Texan twosome layer uplifting vocals alongside an infectious melody and driving electro basslines, whilst throwing in those trademark breakdowns guaranteed to whip any crowd into a frenzy. Causing a stir amongst legions of Tritonians when it was dropped during their appearance at Electric Zoo in New York, ‘Follow Me Home’ is the perfect introduction to the imminent release of their second EP ‘Metamorphic II.’

Biography

As far as young, fresh, exciting, cutting edge artists go, that have a genuinely flowing amount of supreme enthusiasm for studio production and sharp, upfront and vibrantly atmospheric mixes and highly charged stage appearances full of raw power go, Coretek is one of the brightest examples of future breed worthy main stage greatness.

The story behind the man goes way back to an educated step up in introductions to the rave genre from his elder Sister. A consummate follower of all things rave when the scene first exploded in the late 80's and early 90's Coretek's sibling would first peak Coretek's interest with an album (and band) that would later define an entire generation, The Prodigy's 'Experience'. Having hooked him there and then, even at just 6 years of age, our would be hero would then forth be supplied with tape packs and live recordings throughout his childhood, further feeding his interest and intrigue in rave and electronic music on the whole. At this time, happy hardcore as a movement would be exploding into infamy and despite not being the desired age to embark on any live event adventures, it wouldn't stop Coretek from studying, learning, listening and planning for greater adventures to come.

At the latter end of the 1990's, the big club sound boom was in full effect. All different genres were dominating clubs, fields, warehouses, legal and illegal raves and in particular, in addition to his already overwhelming passion for hardcore, trance was also starting to get Coretek's attention. With event brands like Slinky selling out a packed Opera House in Bournemouth on a regular rotation and with Coretek now (barely) old enough to attend such events, at this stage, our wayward artist would still be in fully fledged fan mode, with his occupational aspirations still aimed at being a Professional Footballer, of which he was doing very well at in training. Coretek would despite this, continue touring UK wide to every trance, hard trance, hardstyle and of course hardcore event he could physically get to, soaking up the rave sound and continuing a solid investment in what was to be his favourite pastime (besides training to play for England, of course). 

However, in the year 2000, the hunger for electronic music would become greater than that of his love of Football, Coretek's destiny he had decided, would lie in the production and performance of the electronic music he held so closely to his heart. Investing in a set of turntables, an ample mixer, some headphones and a handful of records, Coretek's journey as a professional would begin with him relentlessly practising day after day, night after night and not stopping this process until the art of beat matching and finely tuned set production and performance was mastered.

Naturally, this would lead on to the feverish distribution of promo discs that would secure the start of Coretek's career playing at parties, raves, events and anywhere and everywhere he could make his name. Playing a wide range of the harder styles, effectively summing up his broad range as an artist Coretek would build a reputation for infectious, energetic upfront sets consisting of hard dance, hardstyle, hard trance and UK hardcore.

UK hardcore although never really leaving the underground since it's birth in the early 90's, famously had a wave of resurgence in the mid noughties, such waves continue to rise and rise to this very day and for Coretek it couldn't have come at a better time. With his passion for UK hardcore re-ignited and the time right for breaking through as part of the new breed, Coretek started showing up on many a line-up of a well respected promoter. 

This esteemed list would from then, until now (and still rapidly rising) include such gatherings as Dancefloor Slamma, Bionic, Hardcore Adrenaline, Diffused, Genetix, Core Obsession, Adrenaline Stompers, Infexion, Oxygen, Raverqueen, Addicted To Hardcore, Kore, Beats and Bass, Delirious, Firewall, Spunky, Overdose, Strictly Come Ravin, Ravers Reform, Future Of Hardcore, Hardcore Addiction and Apocalypse which, in total form a modest shortlist of ever growing engagements. 

Not limiting his talents to just the stage alone, Coretek has since famously held down a handful of residencies on the radio with regular slots on live shows through Headrush Radio and Global Dance Radio, thus entertaining scores of listeners with his fresh and diverse sound all week round, a feat only matched by his regularly recorded mixes of varying styles which are often given away for free download and extensively downloaded in the hundreds and in some cases thousands.

Like any self respecting artist in today's expanding underground scene, the natural course is to next evolve creatively and organically into production, something Coretek has taken on firmly with both hands. So far, Coretek has collaborated with the outstandingly talented Technical Difficulties in the studio on the peak time anthem 'You Said You', which remained in Track It Down's 'Hot Top 100 UK Hardcore Tracks' for well over fourteen weeks. He further collaborated with the boys on the forthcoming slammer 'Stop Me' and also the soon to be released (On Technical Difficulties) party raising tune 'Pitch Black' with DJ Clowny.

One thing that can be said for Coretek is that he's consistent. Such an investment of time, energy and love into one career course has certainly yielded results across the board of creative outlets for which he can be happily associated. As a producer, his ideas, musical ability and vision whilst learning and collaborating with his peers has not only seen the achievement of signing, releasing and high chart positioning of such creative labours, but also afforded him the opportunity to create some further allegiances with projects in the pipeline that see him writing and releasing material forthcoming with DJ Nico, M-Style, Gisbo and a return to the studio with old friends and regular collaborators Technical Difficulties and Clowny.

This will, we have no doubt lead on to continued returns to the main stage with repeat bookings already scheduled for some the scene's mightiest brands lined up nicely for the remainder of 2013 not only at home, but also, for the first time in his career, a break through the UK barrier as this and next year sees Coretek taking to stages at events in Canada, the USA and Australia for what is the start of what we're certain is a very promising career as an artist internationally.

So, in a studio, in a session, at a house party, in a field, at a warehouse, in a bar, at a club, or stretching the length and breadth of a festival or international stage Worldwide, Coretek's location is irrelevant; because what is always prevalent in any of these situations, what always shines through on any occasion, in any place, is his drive, commitment, focus, impressive technical ability, broad track selection, sharp controls and keen turntablism that makes Coretek one of the brightest shining stars of underground electronic music's future league of champions. A league we're heartily certain he'll be joining very, very soon.
