From the Vault: MOON HALO

Debris is the first single from my forthcoming EP, titled: 'In My Head It's Green'. 

The EP was made in autumn/winter 2024, in a very productive few months of music-making, which came around due to tutoring music production, which made me look inward at my own production techniques and try to refine things.

Making music quickly and demonstrating how to do so became a priority, so the rough ideas for this EP appeared quite spontaneously. I then spent a lot of time on the minor details, getting really clinical with the drum programming and sound design.

Off the back of my album 'Echo Point Drive' which came out last year, I really wanted to push the bar further with sound design and synthesis.

The artwork was created by artist Kidfue, (kidfue.com) depicting my dog, Buddy in a park. We got Buddy last year, and spending more time outdoors with him has really helped inspire my music.

'In My Head It's Green' is out on February 19th.

Beamed from an industrial estate in South Wales, local and global noise. Punk, Post-Punk for the dancefloor, scrappy No Wave and Mutant Disco - often none of that - sonic relationships spiral all over. Art contributions and readings from friends. Pretty much vinyl only if anybody cares about that.
