Picture is outside of 16th street Bart. I have seen this face around. First on the the wall was a scroll that read: "Sometimes we need someone to help illuminate the path". Then the scroll was painted over with this face drawn atop; inside the face it still read "Sometimes we need someone to help illuminate the path". The person who drew the face came back a few days later on and redefined the face; The text went away. Later on the face became half face, half flip phone. This world continues show me a paradoxical bounty of meaningful/meaningless absurdities.

Debris is the first single from my forthcoming EP, titled: 'In My Head It's Green'. 

The EP was made in autumn/winter 2024, in a very productive few months of music-making, which came around due to tutoring music production, which made me look inward at my own production techniques and try to refine things.

Making music quickly and demonstrating how to do so became a priority, so the rough ideas for this EP appeared quite spontaneously. I then spent a lot of time on the minor details, getting really clinical with the drum programming and sound design.

Off the back of my album 'Echo Point Drive' which came out last year, I really wanted to push the bar further with sound design and synthesis.

The artwork was created by artist Kidfue, (kidfue.com) depicting my dog, Buddy in a park. We got Buddy last year, and spending more time outdoors with him has really helped inspire my music.

'In My Head It's Green' is out on February 19th.
