DJ Lesage is one half of Tha Mixfits and has quickly become a rising star in the Central Florida nightclub scene. Having a vast musical knowledge and an ability to read a dance floor with precision has given him the opportunity to play a wide variety of parties; everything from the mega ritzy, bottle popping nightclubs down to the basement indie parties. Lesage is known for taking chances musically, crossing genres seamlessly and with technical saavy. His step father was an engineer for The Bee Gees, so growing up around the industry exposed him to a wide range of different types of music, which is made apparent when listening to him spin. Through the years, he has been fortunate enough to play alongside some of the world's biggest performers, DJ's, and artists as well as provide the soundtrack to parties hosted by various a-list celebrities.

As a member of Tha Mixfits, his edits and remixes have been played around the country by some of the nation's top DJ's and have found their way on to websites like Direct Music Service as well as various blogs. If you've ever partied in a nightclub, there's a good chance you've probably heard one of their edits.

Locally in Tampa Bay, he is one of the masterminds behind "Ol' Dirty Sundays," an evening jam session that focuses on old school hip hop, funk, soul, and more. Creative Loafing recently awarded it a "Best of The Bay" award and some of the guests that have come through include the likes of Talib Kweli, Mos Def, Rob Swift, 9th Wonder, and more.

DJ Lesage is a firm believer that people deserve more from a DJ than just an updated playlist of radio music. He is about breaking new grounds musically and providing not just a soundtrack to your night, but a memory for your life!
