Recently we’ve been playing a lot of private parties and gigs around NYC  - - and this weekend we were asked for a fuLL dub // bass set. We decided to put a little Indian twist on it in honour of Durga Pooja, which is just finishing off now with her immersion in the sea. In fact, we’re releasing this set in Brooklyn just as Dussehra descends on India :: the holiday that celebrates the victory of good over evil. JAI !!

Goa is over 20 years old in the mean time. Time to have a retrodelic look! For this I dug in my huge cd & vinyl collection and decided to make a mix for every year for the period 1994-2015 to show the "new" generation of goa people how goa-trance evolved, and never really died ;)

This seventh mix is about 1998, mixed with 2 CDJ1000s and Pioneer djm300 (no lap top mixing involved!). Like usual, a serious challenge! All styles are captured in 1 mix... Fredrik’s path through the rabbit holes of Electronica has been an ever-growing, never-ending exploration through rhythms, patterns, concepts and soundscapes since the innocent 90's. Having always had a keen ear to atmosphere and lysergic depth, he’s been a widely acclaimed DJ across the European festival scene, spanning from meditative Ambient, through Dub and Broken Beats to his significant uptempo TechnoTrance-hybrid sound. Since 2020 he’s the co-manager and graphic designer of Navigare Audio, a record label rooted in his love and dedication for nature, dance, art and deep, hi-fi techno.
