Sofa Beats brings you THE BITZPAN for this episode with a live set featuring tracks from their upcoming single and some older tracks as well. THE BITZPAN is a downtempo/electronica project from Athens, Greece, created by Panos Nikolaou and Yannis Bitzanis. They blend digital and analog techniques to craft their own distinctive sound, characterized by rich soundscapes, atmospheric textures, and intricate downtempo compositions.  From an early age, they were drawn to various music styles, including trip-hop, breakbeats, ambient, and electronic music. Their journey into electronic music production began in 2002 and has continued ever since.

Scøpe is a Korean techno producer and DJ and administrator of SCOPÁVIK Podcast. Composition methods encompassing atonal music, experimental music, spectral music and minimal music. All that he learned when he majored in contemporary music composition, and rhythmical elements of Jazz and Black music which he is deeply interested in since his childhood. Scøpe is now on his way of establishing his own world of music with many remix tracks and EP releases. His dynamic DJ sets almost push the listeners into trance by eliciting their subconscious movements with new grooves which rhythmical structures in each track organically intervene with each other and incrementally accumulate into, and then all of a sudden lead them to a lyrical tone, thus presenting listeners with the type of joy that only techno music can deliver by creating an intersection between reason and instinct.

Having always had a keen ear to atmosphere and lysergic depth, he’s been a widely acclaimed DJ across the European festival scene, spanning from meditative Ambient, through Dub and Broken Beats to his significant uptempo TechnoTrance-hybrid sound. Since 2020 he’s the co-manager and graphic designer of Navigare Audio, a record label rooted in his love and dedication for nature, dance, art and deep, hi-fi techno.
