I started performing slam poetry and rap in 2023 out of passion, and I have several projects in the works that I'll share as soon as they're available. As a slam poet, I blend poetry, introspection, and melancholy with a touch of hope. Wounded but determined, I explore through my lyrics inner struggles, past traumas, and the quest for self-discovery. Each song is an intimate confession, an unwritten letter addressed to those who are going through similar trials. In 2024, Claire joined me, and we formed "Malik & Friends." Our music is inspired by harsh realities, but also by the power of resilience. It's a mix of Franco-Maghrebi influences, slam poetry, rap, and vocal harmonies between me, Claire, and our friends.
