Born in Dallas, TX Dj Curious is one of the first screw DJ's in Dallas, TX that was influenced from the sound of Dj Screw out of Houston, TX. Dj Curious first started doing screw mixtapes in 1999, Dj Curious Presents... & Sex Scenes series mixtapes. Dj Curious then started to record local and southern regional talent and featuring them on his screw mixtapes. Dj Curious assembled his most talented artist and place them in a group that would be called “Dirty South Rydaz (DSR)”. The end result of the artist that were selected by Dj Curious were Addiction, o'e tha Trilla, Big Tuck, P-Co Train & A-Wax. Upon recording their first recording the former childhood friend suggested that Hawitha Hurd be added to the group. Dj Curious agreed and recorded Freestyle Massacre Vol. 1. Dj Curious added a second wave of Dirty South Rydaz for Vol. 2 from Dallas 2 Da Kappa those artists were Tum Tum, Fat B., Double-T, Choppa & Mr. Wills. Dj Curious recorded and released 3 more screw mixtapes albums with Dirty South Rydaz and due to creative differences Dj Curious left the group. Dj Curious created Everglade Entertainment Music and continues to be involved in the music scene and released a compilation album titled “Why So Curious” in 2016 and is currently crafting “Why So Curious 2” and a new ep project series that will service multiple genres. Dj Curious has taken on a more executive producer role and now is managing Hip Hop Artist A.P. the Apostle.
