Bird Boy is an exploration of nature, chill beats created with bird calls. I met sound recordist Paul Marvin who had made some absolutely beautiful recordings of the Baltimore Oriole. 

My composition surrounds the notes the Oriole naturally sings, in its natural rhythm. I tried to do as little audio manipulation as possible for this one, so the Oriole's call sounds just as you would hear it in the wild. 

I live in Philadelphia and have lots of friends in Baltimore, so this local bird has a bit of a personal connection. Thanks for listen, and I hope you enjoy.

ive been playing animal crossing new horizons lately and i love it. it seems this little guitar ditty is the main music for the first week or so of this game. It's my understanding when the Town Halls opens (Tom Nook said it's opening tomorrow) the hourly Animal Crossing music begins.

I love this guitar tune so much, I recorded it! I just got a new preamp. may do a proper remix one day, but for now let's enjoy enjoy! 

the second loop through the theme, I switch settings on the preamp. i wonder if anyone can tell the difference?

made a mix of my favorite jukebox tracks from the final fantasy 7 remake soundtrack. dang, these tunes are so good!  gave 'em a little midrange cut and bass boost as i think they were mastered kind of middy to give them the 'blaring out of a jukebox' feel. hope you enjoy!
