Influenced by the Brooklyn warehouse and underground music scene, damien.k has developed a subliminal craving to spin deep, dark and sophisticated house & techno rhythms.  Upon his relocation to Los Angeles, he discovered a new passion in the minimal genre—bringing an added dimension to his formerly house & techno based sets.  

His style of music can be understood as: "too purist for the club kids but not purist enough for the purists."

Born and raised in Italy's vibrant capital, Worg is a composer, producer, sound designer, and live performer who crafts unique sonic worlds, guiding listeners on a journey through dreamlike and spectral soundscapes. 

At the end of Anno Urbis MMXVIII, Worg founded his record label, "Lykos Records." From this starting point, he began shaping a musical universe fueled by experimentation and sound exploration, navigating the boundaries of experimental techno, ambient, and deep techno. His creations stand out for their fusion of hypnotic textures, persistent rhythms, and metallic dissonances that both captivate and unsettle.

In his productions and live performances, Worg plays with a rich and varied sonic palette: from abrasive noise to soft pads, from shifting sounds to veiled and hypnotic melodies. Each track is a complex mosaic of distinct sonorities that, layered together, create a deep sound enveloped in a dark, melancholic haze. His music is like a journey through dystopian places and fantasies that materialize in imaginary habitats.

His academic background is solid and rigorous: he graduated in Electronic Music Composition from the prestigious Saint Louis College of Music in Rome, earning the Academic Diploma Level I, issued by the Alta Formazione Artistica, Musicale e Coreutica (AFAM - MIUR), authorized by the Italian Ministry of Education, University, and Research. This educational path provided him with the tools to explore the universe of electronic music with competence and creativity.

Worg has made his mark with releases on renowned labels such as Illegal Alien Records, Circular Limited, Lowless, Diffuse Reality, Northallsen Records, Concrete Records, Lett Records, Warok Music, Artscope, and many more. He has released podcasts on prestigious platforms like Monument, Invite's Choice, Erratic, SCOPÁVIK, and On the 5th Day.

Throughout his career, Worg has had the honor of performing in some of the world’s most iconic clubs, including Womb, Forest Limit, and Dommune in Tokyo (Japan), Vurt in Seoul (South Korea), Abyss in Shanghai, Loopy Club in Hangzhou, and Wigwam in Beijing (China), Tresor in Berlin, Goa Club in Rome, Nada Temple in Lisbon. He has graced the stages of Europe's biggest festivals such as MoDem Festival in Croatia, Ozora Festival in Hungary, Amore Festival and Outdoor Festival in Italy. Each performance is an immersive experience that leaves the audience suspended between reality and imagination, entranced by the dark allure of his musical vision.

Worg is a storyteller of sonic poems who moves between shadow and light, crafting a musical language and narrative that is both evocative and intriguing.
