Hello, friends!  First, thank you all for a hella stream Saturday night - we barely had gone live and you all LAUNCHED it!  Thank you, always, it means the world to us and helps keep our vision going strong.  

We added a few new minor tweaks to the Twitch stream view, the new RUNE effect and a musical one, as well as the pivoting OnlyHands(TM) view. One bug to clear up, then we'll be onward to more stream enhancements.  

While maybe not a *big* development, we are formally launching our new YouTube channel, that will host our stream replays.  If you're feeling it, please give us a follow, a like, a share - will certainly help us launch a bit stronger.  

Saturday night's stream was such a damn good set - we've uploaded right away to both Youtube (full stream video), and Soundcloud (music only).

Burufunk - Live @ Promo Mix 17.05.2007

I recently decided to upgrade my mixer from my trust old Xone 42 to a PLAYdifferently Model 1.4 and of course what better way to christen my extravagant new toy than with the recording of a mix! This started life as another one of my drunken evening rambling epics which I was just going to drop as the next episode of the I Like This project, but after listening to it back a few times I realised that there enough bits that I really liked that it was worth trying to rejig the bits that were less well done and have it as a stand alone mix. 
 I've been listening to a lot of the newer trance from labels like Haws but this is the first mix Ive done that really features it prominently. I think I've managed to successfully synthesise it in with the other sounds I play to create something cohesive.  It is very much a "trance" mix, quite high energy and laced with 303 all over the place alongside some full on hands in the air euphoria, although hopefully staying the right side of unicorn bothering.

Play (A Little Bit) Differently

What an epic trip.  The first realization of a concept idea we've been chipping away at, finding this location over a year ago - we just couldn't forget about it.  

To say we're supercharged is an understatement.  In an environment that inspires our creative outlet, and recharging us at the same time.  The location we streamed from is simply magical.  Photos, videos, music - nothing was quite able to capture the actual feeling there.  We did our best to share it with you, and hope you all felt it too. 
 
While our hearts still feel like they're up in the mountains, we're already working towards the next event.  We have a fresh stack of behind-the-scenes work to do.  Everything went exactly the way we wanted to, and there are things that we need to continue to develop before the next event too.  😉
