When I learned of the heart-wrenching news last week about the passing of Ultrasonic's Mallorca Lee, just weeks after his cancer diagnosis, I felt a sense of loss coupled with an urge to pay homage. As I started my DJ journey in the 90s, UltraSonic's vinyls were a cornerstone of my collection. Mallorca Lee's energy and infectious enthusiasm on stage were nothing short of inspirational, leaving a mark on my heart and craft. 

In seeking a way to honour his legacy, the choice of UltraSonic's "Angels" for a tribute remix felt appropriate for the circumstances.

The lyrics "In my dreams, We will be together forever, Flying higher" from the track, beautifully remind us of Mallorca Lee's impact. These words make me feel like Mallorca's spirit and his music will always be with us, even though he's no longer here. Mallorca's dreams and the music he made will continue to inspire and lift people up, long after he's gone.

My ultimate aim is to create an electrifying and captivating atmosphere. Whether it be setting dance floors ablaze or bringing the infectious energy into people's homes worldwide, on radio or social media. 

Presenting my show on Energy106 has provided me not only with opportunities to showcase my own music but also to promote and uplift some of Northern Ireland's most prominent DJs and producers. Being able to support local talent is an incredibly gratifying experience that fosters growth and enhances the vibrancy of our music community.
